I did an update on Safari a few days ago, and ever since I'm having trouble getting pages to load. It will load some of the information on the pages but not all of it, the pictures are the main part it won't load, and it just fills them in with a question mark. The current Safari I have is 5.1.7.

Lion recovery update from the software update won't install. Keeps spooling (I think that is the word for the updaet never seems to finish updating). Is anyone else having problems with iCloud mail at the moment? For the past few days it has been VERY slow to update, sometimes failing altogether. Yesterday, I deleted a number of emails, only to find them restored after a later update. I am beginning to think about no longer using iCloud mail and shifting my main email account to my gmail account - it works every time!

After multiple updates failed to install on a restart, including a security and Safari update, many applications on my mac do not work.I am receiving error messages such as this: [code] This leads me to believe that multiple frameworks went missing in the failed update; looking in the frameworks folder, the only ones there are iTunesLibrary.framework, NyxAudioAnalysis.framework, and PluginManager.framework. Where can I download these missing framework/fix the problem if there is more too it than that? Finder, system profiler, system preferences all work. Activity monitor shows everything as normal.

Installed an update for WePrint Server APP which popped up onscreen. Downloaded update, installer program loaded, selected drive, and install was successful. Closed the install program window (Safari open in background along with other programs running in dock, but not on screen), but the Installer menu bar remained on the top of the screen. Lost the OSX Lion Status / menu bar, the Apple icon, time, user, etc. Was able to use Safari, but not without hesitation.
The Safari menu bar at the top of the screen never appeared while in Safari, the Install Program menu did not disappear, even thought there was no evidence that the program was still running. No icon in dock, no hidden screen page or window. Closed all the running programs in the docks, and checked Force Quit, (ctrl+alt+esc) and no installer program remained. Unable to shut off or restart the computer without using the on / off button on the back of the intel mac monitor. Once rebooted all seems well.

I have been unable to load any MSN pages including my hotmail account. I am able to sign in and access the sign in page, but the inbox page freezes (loads up to about 75% on the menu bar) all the other msn websites follow suit load but not fully. I wouldn't mind but my main email account is with hotmail and my pop account via apple mail I cannot access junk and other folders etc..

View 2 Replies View RelatedI updated with the latest Lion patch yesterday and since then Entourage has either hung or taken a very long time to update from our 2003 Exchange server (I have MS Office 2011 but as you're probably aware, there are issues integrating with a 2003 Exchange server). how this might be fixed, short of updating both our 2003 Windows Server to Windows Server 2008 x64 and Exchange to 2010 so I (the only Mac user out of 85 staff) can use Outlook 2011?

"Software Update can't connect to the Update Server" - so I can't even check to see if updates are available.This has been going on for sometime. For a while if I created a new admin account and used that it would work, but not today.Tried creating a new admin account but to no avail.
I clcik on the Apple Icon, (top left hand side of screen), click on SOFTWARE UPDATE, it runs for a split second, then: [URL]after which I check my internet connect to see that it's fine. (And I attempt to run SU with nothing else using the internet). [URL] I've checked the forum and found a few people with the same problem. I've tried deleting PLISTs and using 008.008.008.008 DNS address, [URL], but still cannot get it to work. I still have my old G4 Power running OS 10.5.8 connected to the same modem (Netcomm NB6PLus4w Modem which has 4 ports) as my Mac Mini, and it runs Software Update without any issues. So it's not my internet connection and it's not the Apple server, so it's something about the Mac Mini that's not right.

I was watching a video on Hulu, and suddently I got a error that the website could not load. Since then, I can't load most pages (yet oddly I have found one page that still works.) Network diagnostics says that everything is working fine... and I can still connect to everything just fine with with my MacBook and iPhone on the same network. I can't load a CD/DVD into my drive as it appears blocked? I can confirm 100% there is not a disk in the drive. Interestingly I updated my software and the drive worked again (once) allowing me to enter a drive then ejetc it soon after? when i tried to reinsert it again blocked it!?
