Each time I sync my iPhone and I had foobar or another media player open the sound distorts really bad. Now this used to happen months back then suddenly worked with out any interference. But again, iam now getting this awful distortion when I try to sync-anyone know why?
View 1 Repliesbasically the bug makes it where the playback position (where you are in a podcast) is not synced correctly between iTunes and your device (iPhone 4 in my case).
Scenario 1: Download a new podcast episode on your Mac/iTunes. Listen to 20 minutes. Sync to iPhone. When you listen to it on your iPhone, it starts at the beginning...not 20 minutes in like it should.
Scenario 2: Download a new podcast episode on your Mac/iTunes. Sync to iPhone. When you listen to it on your iPhone for the first time, it starts randomly somewhere in the middle...not at the start like it should.
This bug didn't exist with iTunes 9. The bug appeared in iTunes 10 and still exists as of version 10.1.1 that was released a couple of days ago.

Any ideas on how to get movement on this from Apple? Already reported it as a bug online as well as posted in the thread on the discussion forum. This bug is PAINFUL for heavy podcast listeners.
Is there any way in FCPX to delay the audio playback to be in sync with an external monitor.
In FCP7 it was called "Frame delay".
I have no standalone audio delay available.
I´m cutting music videos and while the external video (BM Intensity Extreme via HDMI) is only delayed 2-3 frames, it is virtually useless...
I had sound on my computer last night but when turning on this morning there was no sound. It is not muted. Also, when I try to run an event in IPhoto as a slide show, it shuts down.

I downloaded the newest episode of the office, and it started fine, but at one point the video went a little "wacky" and the audio/video became unsynced. Does anyone know a solution to this, I have tried quitting itunes but that didn't work
View 4 Replies View RelatedI never noticed this on my last hp laptop but my new dell almost everything in itunes plays with the audio out of sync with the video. most noticeable on podcasts. my dell is not high end but it has duel core amd 64 4400 chips 2 gigs of ram. running xp. it has a built in nvidia geforce 6150l video card with a built in sound card. it has done this since I got it a month ago. it is not an issue playing dvd's in windows media player. just itunes. any clues?

Playback is choppy, with some stuttering and static noises...It does this even when playing straight to the computer speakers...I've disconnected my router to make it isn't the culprit (it slows down my internet connection quite a lot).

I seem to be having problems either with hardware or iTunes. First, I notice a delayed response with iTunes when pressing play. It didn't used to take so long to start a track, or even unpause a track. This is with only one other program open, Firefox. Also, with mutiple files from different albums, there are pops, dropouts, and clicks when listening to music. It sounds like I'm moving the 1/8th jack around in the headphone output. This would lead me to believe I'm having a hardware issue. It happens with headphones or speakers.

I have a Mac Mini 2011, I started having audio playback problems with about 90 percent of my purchased Itunes movies. The audio is fine as long as you don't maximize the viewing window, as soon as you do the audio become choppy. I keep all my movies on an external hard drive, 1Terrabyte Western Digital Mybook (the one recommended for macs. I even tried copying a movie onto the computer hard drive with the same result. This all seemed to start after I had my mac mini hard drive replaced.

Using iTunes I converted a mp3 music file to wave and then burnt an audio CD. on a CD-R Everything worked fine. Now the CD plays fine on the any computer but not on my stereo. I am using a MAC OS X 10.9.4. The recording speed was 10X.

I am running iTunes 11.2.2, which I assume is the most recent download.
During playback of songs in iTunes I get momentary audio drop outs or interruptions of songs. They happen once every 45 seconds or so but it varies, and they are not consistent from playback to playback (they happen at different times in the song when the song is played multiple times).

I'm looking to digitize my DVD library and be able to play back the files with surround sound. The actual digitization process isn't the issue here, but I want to know how I can go about playing back the files and not losing the surround sound. I'm planning on buying a new mac mini to do this and connecting a mini-toslink cable up to my receiver. What application should I be using to get the audio playback?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Mac Pro 1,1 with two displays and an NVIDIA 8800 card. I was booted into Windows 7 using bootcamp, the machine froze during video playback, hard rebooted. Blue Screened in Windows, went to restart into OS 10.5.7 and I get the Apple logo and spinning gear, it then flashes briefly and goes to a grey screen. The second monitor never engages. The machine is fully booted as I can connect to it with my laptop through filesharing. I've tried PRAM/SMC reset, removing all the RAM/all external devices, pretty much everything. I've even tried replacing the video card and switching PCI slots, with the same issue still occurring.

I never had any replies to my initial post and I'm still having the same issues with my Macbook Pro, iTunes and my iPhone. After sync, I'm seeing on some albums the album artwork and full track listings but the audio won't play on my iPhone. However, the same tracks play fine using iTunes on the MBP. Anyone come across this before and/or have any ideas how to solve the problem?

I have a couple of TV show episodes on my iPod and the Audio is out of sync. Sometimes by a 5 seconds then sometimes by 1. The audio is out of sync everywhere not just on my iPod. So if I watch it on my computer, iTunes, iPod it's allways out of sync. So my question is, is their a way to fix the audio without ruining the quality of the video.

This really started to become a problem over the last few months. This is a 15" MBP, 2009 bought in March, 4GB ram. Storage is on a 1TB WD drive in a LaCie 2 big tripple enclosure with firewire. No extra software installed and the computer is only used for iTunes and internet. Has all updates.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm having this issue with imovie 09 where when I export the movie project, the audio and video is out of sync starting at this specific area. What's odd though is that it plays fine while I'm editing in imovie but when the movie is exported, the file is messed up. I tried exporting using Quicktime and exporting the movie normally. I also tried replacing the clip where the problem with the audio started but it's still the same. I'm really upset because I spent hours editing this project but.

With HD TV shows under my own custom iPad preset it encodes beautifully, but if it's simply SD the audio is off in both normal profile, universal and AppleTV. The file itself is fine as I've tested, but it never encodes the video properly.

I'm wondering if anyone else has or is having issues with video, specifically music video, playback in iTunes. I noticed it when I was trying to play a video I'd downloaded, about 3 weeks ago. I'd bought the video some time ago, already have watched it several times before, but this time it didn't play. I didn't think much of it. But all of my other music videos did the same thing. From what I can tell, it's exclusive to music vids. My tv shows play fine, the few movies I've bought, etc. But not a single music vid plays back. It's just a screenshot of the video. I made a smart playlist, of all my music vids, versus tv/movies and there are 61 music vids and not a single one plays.
This was happening prior to the iTunes 9 update, but I'm not sure when exactly, or with which update it did start happening, as i just noticed about 3 weeks ago.
I am keep getting below message. I do have Bonjour in my system and I am the only user on my laptop and I am the administrator. What am I supposed to do?
