I recently found at the bottom of the Itunes store a drop down box which has a list of all the stores around the world. When I went into Italy for instance it wouldnt allow me to purchase anything from that country. Is their a work around so I can purchase what I like from which ever country I want?

I was wondering if anybody could advise me on how to go about purchasing tracks/videos from the Canadian Itunes store.I have an American account, but there are a few items in the Canadian sotre I would like to purchase. I've tried changing 'stores' but I get the usually message "Your Account is only valid to purchase items from the US store".I have read you can make a Canadian account, but was wondering if the Giftcards purchased in the American stores, can be used to top up Canadian Itunes Account.
I currently have about $40 on my account, do I have to spend it all before I move (from US to Canada)? Or will it transfer over?

I am an American originally from Asia. I have an iPhone 3GS and my iTune is setup to US as country. I would really like to buy songs from the Taiwan iTune store (because the Albums are in Chinese and may be there are episodes I want to watch).
Any advice from the forum? I have multiple laptops in case that becomes a necessity for the setup.
P.S. I want to be law abiding and everything. I just hope that commercial entity understand that while I want to be a full blooded American, I have another cultural background, and I also appreciate things from my past life. Just hope that this is an easy hoop to jump through.

Itunes radio stations work, but I can't access the music store, podcast directory, or sign in to my account. Is Itunes 5 not allowed to access the music store anymore?

I reinstalled the latest version and that didn't solve the problem. I am using an Imac and OS 10.6.5. My Itunes version is 10.1.1.
I purchased a few Cds from iTunes around 6 months back. I then deleted a lot of music and somehow deleted these Cds from my Library. When I go to Check For Downloads under Store in the iTunes Menu it checks and then assumes all is there. How can I get the music back that I have purchased and download it back into iTunes on my MacBook. I am running iTunes 8.1

1) Will it be censored?
2) Will it have DRM on it?

3) Is it true that the files will be 256 kbit/s AAC-encoded, with the filename suffix .m4a?
4) Can I move the location of the files on my hard disc after downloading? When I "rent" a movie from the iTunes store, I cannot move the file.
5) I hear that the iTunes Store puts a "watermark" on all downloaded files saying some of my personal information, to deter piracy. Can I read this "watermark" using a text editor like BBEdit, or is it encrypted?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI bought itunes match and I want to delete music from the Purchased tab in the Itunes store that is there in the icloud. I backed up the music I want. I turned on itunes match and downloaded the music and then deleted it all and selected the option to delete from icloud. After running itunes match again it says there is no music in icloud so I thought all the songs were gone from icloud. I go back into the Purchased tab in the itunes store and all the music I ever bought is still there. Is there a way I can get rid of all the music in the Purchased tab? I thought by getting itunes match and deleting from the icloud it would get rid of the music from the Purchased tab. I am doing this on my macbook with Lion installed and latest version of itunes. I have deleted and recreated the library at least 3 times as well trying to vanquish that music from the Purchased tab.

Two songs purchased from iTunes store today. Download looked OK, new purchases do show in Store>Purchased list. I added ratings, and songs went to smart playlist for top rated songs. BUT songs do not appear in Library>Music where all songs are. Search indicates they do not exist. It is from this library I drag to other lists. But without them there I am stumped. Never seen this before.

i've got macbook with itunes and a NAS server with my music library.
i imported all the music files from the NAS to my iTunes on my MacBook. it's okey.
but, next time a launch the iTunes its mark all my music files in the library as broken or unavailable. so i cannot sync it with iphone or other i*-devices.
so i have to double-click on each song to force iTunes recheck the location of a music file. i cannot store my music on my macBook because i don't have enough free space for it.

I wonder how I can recover the music and Apps that I already bought from iTunes store. I lost my iPod and I want to check for the music and the Apps I bought since I am thinking in buying a new iPod, but there are not in my iTunes. I tried all I could try to get them back but nothing. At one time I think I was able to type in a song name and/or writer/singer and it would come up and allow me to preview it for 60 seconds. I can't figure out how to do that now (I think this may have changed once our MAC was 'updated' by a local MAC professional). I'd like to be able to type in 'After the Gold Rush' by Neil Young, preview it to make sure it's the sone I want, and then Buy it and have it downoaded onto my MAC.Â

View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to purchase The Walking Dead, Season 2, which is currently available as a Season Pass (despite the season being complete, now). I downloaded season 1, no problem, but when I try to download season 2, itunes just gets stuck on 'Purchasing', with the grey striped in motion in the info section at the top of the window.
I clicked the "Buy Season Pass" button, was prompted to enter my password and the info section changed to "Purchasing". The "Downloads" option on the left never appears. It's been three hours. I could've get dvds faster than this (provided that season 2 was available on dvd yet it's not, but it might be by the time itunes finally decides to download it!).

Previously buying an HD TV show gave you the SD download too, so you could playback on older devices not HD compatible, or perhaps more importantly sync smaller files to iPhones/iPads if you wanted to get more content on sacrificing the resolution. Last few TV shows I've bought only the HD downloads, and no matter how much I fiddle with Prefs and the 'prefer HD when available' checkbox in iTunes Store 'Purchased' I cannot seem to get the SD to download.
