I have several email videos that I would like to put on my iTouch and the drag and drop method does not seem to work, like it did with my old video iPod. Is there a program or a app for my iMac to convert video to my iTouch.

I am trying to switch my email program from Thunderbird to the mac email program Mail.Thunderbird has been playing up a lot recently and am tired of the glitches.
I have all the correct server settings etc and succesfully imported my mailboxes. The problem is that when I send an email it isn't from the right email address?? Is this a Mail problem or smth to do with my settings? I'm with Virgin media and have a separate set of email address through my website for my business so my email address are through freeola that I am using through Thunderbird.I'm sorry if this all sounds very stupid but I am pulling my hair out trying to figure out where I have gone wrong!
I have hundreds of videos of various formats on my late 2008 model Macbook Pro. Up until this point I have had no issues playing videos. I recently updated Flip4Mac app and now when I try to open videos in Quicktime they have to buffer, even though they are stored on my Macbook. This doesn't happen for all videos, but the majority of them. I'm on OSX version 10.5.8, Quicktime version 7.6.4, Flip4Mac version 2.3.1.2. Why my saved videos are now buffering? This only happens with .wmv files I have come to realize, this never used to be the case.

The email for my business is working with no problems, but the AOL email is not showing the emails i am sending in the sent folder. It is also not saving an email as a draft if I choose to do so, it says "the email could not be saved". I also have both these email accounts linked to my phone and use the email app on my phone to send and receive emails for both accounts during the day.
I am using my laptop during the evening with the mac mail app and that is where I am having the problem. My phone will show the sent messages that I send on my phone, but none of them that I have sent from my laptop either. Anyone know why the emails I send do not show in the sent folder in the mail app on my laptop? Why it is telling me it cannot save an email as a draft? Everything was working fine a couple weeks ago, but since then I have not been able to view my sent messages or save emails as drafts.
How do I get itunes to import video? I'm on itunes 9.2. When I click on Library/Movies in the upper left, I'm taken to a page that wants to connect me to the itunes store. I don't want the itunes store. I want itunes to find and recognize my own movies folder. I want to import into itunes video content that's already on my imac, so that I can transfer it to the iphone. I tried pressing the apple key + O to add media to the Library.

View 7 Replies View RelatedAfter installing Lion, I can no longer move program icons from my applications folder to a sub folder. When I do, it makes a copy and leave the original in the applications folder. When I then try to delete the icon in the applications folder it tells me it's required by the OS and won't let me delete. I'm forced to keep certan applications such as Time Machine and Stickies in the application folder.

I am running Mountain Lion 10.8.5 on a MacBook Air. I have email messages saved to Mailboxes in Mail on my hard drive, and these messages are also backed up in Time Machine. How do I delete certain of these backed-up messages? If the files were accessible in the Finder, I know how to use the action menu (gear icon) to delete all backups of the chosen file. But I don't see any way to delete the email messages in Mail on T.M.

In itunes on my iMac, most, but not all, of my home videos and homemade slide shows have been saved in the TV shows directory rather than the movies directory. I've tried to move them to the movies directory in iTunes, but they won't be moved. How can I move them, and then have the moves reflected on my iPad?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI use the Mac mail application on my Macbook Pro. Running OS X 10.6.5. I have several email accounts. 2 of them are aol accounts (IMAP). For some reason, for the past 2 days, when I send an email from those aol accounts, even though the email goes through, the email does not show up in my SENT folder. I know the email goes through because I receive replies from the recipient.
My 2 other email accounts (not aol) don't have that problem. Once again, this just started suddenly, 2 days ago (only with aol accounts)
When I highlight the SENT folder in the sidebar - and then go to the MAILBOX pulldown menu - and select USE THIS MAILBOX FOR - the options are all grey. I can't select them.
Why can't I access my @me.com email through my mail program on my imac? I am using my apple password. I keep getting an error message.
