Nov 14, 2010I clicked on the iChat icon and when it tries to open, it says the following (see attached file).
In addition, I have various Pages and Keynote documents in the "Documents" folder. However, it does not show a preview of a Pages or Keynote document as it did before. It just shows a Pages logo on a Pages document and a Keynote logo on a Keynote document. What's going on?

May 17, 2012I have some apps that I bought sometimes ago when I'm still living in newzealand. Now I moved to other country permernantly. Therefore, I have to change newzealand mac app store to us mac app store(Apple forces me, because my new credit card is us base).
Problem is, I have to switch back to newzealand store everytime I needed to install something, then switch back to US store to install some other thing. that's annoying.
Now, I can rebuy the apps that I've already have for my US store, but that's hideus, why should I pay twice for the same thing ? Is that the best if Apple let me transfer the apps ? what big deal about it ? beside's the country flag the apps are rather look and cost the same, why don't let me do it?

It'd be nice if I can combine them into one document (makes for easier printing and management).
But I don't know how to offset the page numbering so that it starts on a certain page as "1" and goes from there. I don't want a page number on my cover page and table of contents, for example.

When I try to purchase, I get the message, "Additional security information is needed. To use this Apple ID you must first login to the my info web page then provide additional security information." But when I click on Update Security Info, it brings me to a page at [URL] but the page will not load, and it says that Safari can't establish a secure connection to the server. I have also tried it in Firefox and it does not work there either. I went to the Apple Store online, and updated my account info with the proper credit card and information, but it has not helped. What is going on here. This is for my bosses account and not my account, and we need to purchase some software for this machine, but are completely unable.

Jun 25, 2009I've done some work on Numbers and Pages (both 2008) on my MacBook. For some reason when I try to attach these documents to an email to send to my boss, they are grayed out so that I cannot click them and attach them. I've tried using my university's system as well as hotmail, ymail and gmail, so I assume it has something to do with recognition of the files. So far, I have tried to change the Numbers documents to .xls, but this does not solve my problem.
In this form, the properties ("Get Info") tell me that it is a Microsoft Excel document, but Numbers won't open it and in won't send via email. I have other .xls documents on my computer that I either received by email or downloaded, the icon on my desktop is different, Numbers reads it and they can be attached to emails. It seems that even though I change the .numbers files to .xls, there is still something missing for them to really be Excel files or at least sendable.
