App Store :: How To Permently Delete Apps From ITunes
Jun 18, 2012
Everytime I open iTunes there is automatic downloads waiting for apps that I no longer have of want. I delete them form the iTunes download screen but they come back everytime. How do I permently delete apps from iTunes, and/or my whole app history, form my account?
I accidentally created two accounts. I downloaded some apps to my Macbook Pro from the account that I'm trying to retire. I want to remove those apps and then download them from the new active account so everything is set like I want. How do I properly remove those apps from the Macbook so I can reinstall them with the correct Apple ID? I don't care if I have to pay again.
How do I delete apps from iPad one? The icons jiggle but there are no x's or lines to click for delete. I read once about resetting to Original condition, which is fine BUT My Passcode ,inside setting Is unknown, locked. I have about 22 failed trials.   I am not talking about the password to log onto my iPad. Â
I have a number of apps listed in iTunes (not on my iPhone or iPad) that I no longer use. How do I get rid of them from the list of Apps it wants me to sync.
Info: iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.3), iMac Core i7 2.93GHz 4GB
When in Itunes, I can't delete my apps. I only see them how they are organized on my Iphone "screen" but when i click on the, they will highlight but I have nbo option for deleting them.
How can I delete Apps and iBooks from iTunes so that do not constantly re-sync with iPad or iPhone even though I specifically un-check them NOT to sync? I have to go thru this every time! I don't even want them any longer on iTunes (or iPad) but I can't find a way to remove them from iTunes! Apple used to be so easy and intuitive but now so much is hidden/fixed).

I guess I'm just an old f*rt, but I have alot of trouble navigating my way around iTunes and the App Store.I have alot of old apps that I simply want to dump into the dumpster and be rid of forever.I cannot seem to find a way to permanently delete an app and have it go away forever.
When every I click install in iTunes Store for an app for my iphone it says downloading [apps name]Â but does not downloads it. This is happening for all apps I want to download.Â
I have a batch of HD video downloads in my iTunes Store queue that I can't delete. Before it was annoying, having to purchase both the regular video and HD video, then delete the unwanted HD download from my queue list, but now it's a problem. I can't empty the unwanted HD downloads, and for me to download them all will tie up my connection for a week or more.
I've downloaded 100 Apps since getting my iPhone. Of which, only 70 I've enabled to be sync'd to my iPhone. If updates are available for the other 30, iTunes downloads them even though I am not sync'ing them to my iPhone. Is there a way to permanently delete these unwanted Apps from my iTunes so that I am not spending time getting updates to Apps I am no longer intersted in?
I live in the UK and cannot purchase from a US store. How can I change Itunes / Apps store to direct me to the UK store and allow me to purchase from there?
I wonder how I can recover the music and Apps that I already bought from iTunes store. I lost my iPod and I want to check for the music and the Apps I bought since I am thinking in buying a new iPod, but there are not in my iTunes. I tried all I could try to get them back but nothing. I check the list of the thing I bought from Apple Store through iTunes and some of the music and Apps are in the list, couldn't find how to downloads again, but not all the music or Apps were there.
Info: MacBook Pro (15-inch Mid 2009), Mac OS X (10.6.8), iTunes version 10.6.3
I want to delete some apps that have been previously downloaded, and apparently saved on iCloud. I'm able to "hide" them, but i want to just delete them completely. Is there a way to do this???
When I sync my ipod, it will sync and everything. My problem is, is I have old apps that I don't use still on my itunes. It's not syncing to my ipod because they are not checked but they are still on my app summary screen. How do I get rid of them?
I bought itunes match and I want to delete music from the Purchased tab in the Itunes store that is there in the icloud. I backed up the music I want. I turned on itunes match and downloaded the music and then deleted it all and selected the option to delete from icloud. After running itunes match again it says there is no music in icloud so I thought all the songs were gone from icloud. I go back into the Purchased tab in the itunes store and all the music I ever bought is still there. Is there a way I can get rid of all the music in the Purchased tab? I thought by getting itunes match and deleting from the icloud it would get rid of the music from the Purchased tab. Please advise who to get rid of the music from the Purchased tab in the itunes store.Â
I am doing this on my macbook with Lion installed and latest version of itunes. I have deleted and recreated the library at least 3 times as well trying to vanquish that music from the Purchased tab.
Under purchases I'm getting "you have not purchased any apps." Under Itunes in the Cloud all my apps are listed as hidden but when I click "view hidden purchases" it says I do not have any hidden purchases. I have three Macs and all are experiencing the same issue so this is an account problem and not a computer software problem. The funny thing is that it's still recognizing updates.Yes, I've tried signing out and back in to view my account with no luck. The only thing I did weird last night was I disabled the Itunes store and automatic downloading on one computer. This morning when I had the above problem I put all the settings back.Â
Receiving individual Final Cut X redemption codes for our fleet of MAC Minis begs the question; "How do we deploy this software". There must be a better(easier faster way) than to download, install and configure each machine separately. (This will take weeks). This software cannot, it seems, be deployed by Apple Remote Desktop. Is there anyway of downloading FC X to one MAC and cloning the image to the rest of the fleet?
When you sync your iPhone you sometimes get the following message:Â
Itunes has found purchased items on the iphone thats arenot present in your itunes library.Â
There are two reasons for this:
1. I have deleted apps in iTunes that I don't want, but not on the iPhone. I don't want to transfer the apps back to iTunes because I want them gone.
2. I have bought apps on the iPhone that I do want to keep. I want these transferred to iTunes.Â
So if I have both types 1 and 2 then there is no good answer. Preferably iTunes should offer to sync and choose which apps to transfer and what not to transfer. Is there a way to change this behaviour? By the time I sync I don't know what I've done so I'm usually not sure how to answer the question. Sometimes I like to bulk delete apps in iTunes--it is easier than doing it on the iPhone.
