Apr 11, 2012I downloaded a bunch of songs the other day and now realize one of the songs was the wrong version (wanted w/lyrics, got w/o). I KNOW I've done similiar before (downloaded dirty version, wanted clean) and I was able to click some where on something and get a credit for the incorrect song. I can't find it again. Does anyone know how I can "return" the song and get my money back??

ITunes :: 10.6 (40) Freezes Computer At Beginning Of Song?
Mar 13, 2012After upgrading to iTunes 10.6 (40) this week I am experiencing (very) frustrating freezes at the start of every new track in iTunes. The freeze affect the whole computer. Nothing happens (or can happen) at all except the song plays. the freeze lasts 15-20 seconds then everything is back to normal. I expect it may have to do with caching/buffering the new song.Â
I really, really hope this is fixed very soon. I am on a 2 x 2.26 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon Power Mac with 12 GB RAM running Mac OS 10.7.3.Â

Mar 3, 2012I purchased a song from iTunes today and after it downloaded I was unable play it after being told my computer was not authorized to play the song. After going through the steps to "authorize the computer" I was told it is already authorized. Thinking I was then going to be able to play the song, I was once again being told that my computer was not authorized.

Jun 5, 2010I'm not sure why, but I have the latest version of iTunes running on my machine [Windows XP] and whenever I turn my computer on and open iTunes that window pops up asking me if I want to import songs and start using iTunes yadda yadda.
And my settings get reset, meaning that my library isn't set to be consolidated, my equalizer isn't how i want it etc etc.

Apr 28, 2009I have song compilation albums in itunes. I prefer to seach by Artist, not album. Compilation albums often assign a different artist for each song. I don't like this, as I end up with thousands of artists, each with only one song! Here's an example:
I copy "Classical Chillout" compilation album to itunes. 30 songs show up, each with their own (new) artist name, song name, and all within the album "Classical Chillout.
Instead of having:
SONG Adagio for Strings
ARTIST Samuel Barber
ALBUM Classical Chillout
I want to batch rename all songs so that the Album name becomes the Artist and each "Artist" name is inserted into the "Song" name

I just successfully swapped in a WD Scorpio Blue 640GB HDD into my MBP A1211 and also fresh installed Snow Leopard so the laptop is clean and free of anything I don't want. Even ran Monolingual thanks to advice I read on here.
So basically since my MBP's HD is large enough to comfortably accommodate my iTunes library I'd like to copy it onto it's HD from my external.I did some searching but it was mostly how to transfer from PC to MAC with external blah blah. Dec 11, 2008I have a decent size music library(40+gig) on my late MB and i find that iTunes is slow to load when I open it and sometimes when im clicking around songs there is a half second pause before the song is highlighted and then starts to play. Since the program is pulling the info off the HD im thinking that if i got a higher capacity 7200 rpm drive that this would help (currently my stock 150gig only has 50gigs left) with this stutter or would upgrading to 4gig ram?
