iTunes on my iMac reports on my unconnected iPad 3 gen just as if it were wire connected and being synced. Is this normal and is it syncing by wireless (so why doesn't my iPad 1 or iPhone 4s do likewise?) or is iTunes on the iMac corrupted in some way and it's reporting a phantom connection based on the last time the iPad 3 actually was wire connected? If iTunes is corrupted can I overwrite with a fresh download or do I have to uninstall and re-load?
Info:
iMac (27-inch Mid 2011), Mac OS X (10.7.3), iPad 3 gen, iPhone 4S, iPods.
I have the Australin app called Ninenewsbreak and the app works well on my iphone4 BUT the sound won't work on my iPad.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled it 3 times and still no sound. This app is for the iPhone and iPad according to the advert in the app store. The sound works great on the iPad for other apps downloaded.Â
I've been syncing my devices for years, but after I updated to iTunes 10.6 then attempted to sync my iPhone 4, iTunes aborts and does not complete the sync. I tried my iPad as well with exactly the same results. So, I expect that something has begun corrupted in iTunes and I tried to revert to the previous version of iTunes with Time machine, but the Mac reported that I cannot remove iTunes. It could be a library that is corrupt or a cache of some sort, but I can't tell.Â
I have downloaded a movie in itunes on my mac along with an album. It let me sync the album with my ipad but said I needed to authorize my computer. My computer is authorized but my ipad isn't, how do I authorize my ipad?
With Itunes 10.5.3 recently installed Ipad backup fails. Backup starts, then freezes for a second or so, then other synchronisation steps continue. After all synchronisation steps are finished, a message pops up like: "Backup failed because connection to ipad was lost"
Had that issue with earlier version of iTunes before. No problem though with 10.5.2.
I have an iPad that is synced to my home computer (iMac). I am currently in my second home and wish to move some files back and forth between my second iMac and iPad. I do NOT wish to sync them as this erases all the work I have done on files at my first home. The app I am mostly concerned with is called Songbook. My second iMac does not allow file sharing and I'm guessing because it needs to sync first. Not gonna happen. So am I out of luck or is there some way to move files back and forth? I really would like to do this as the edit function on the iMac is much better than using the Songbook app and keyboard.
How can I move apps from my mac to my ipad? Both have icloud...itunes... & I manually connected them .. how to put my previously purchased app over to my ipad?
My computer with my iTunes library died. I bought a new MacBook pro laptop. I can get the songs I purchased from iTunes on my computer but some songs I have on my iPad were from personal CDs. How do I getthoseback on my library on my computer?
I am trying to download itunes 10.5 on an ipad, but I keep getting the response that Safari cannot download it. I do not want to keep i0s5, but to revert back.
Just purchased iPad2 and setup with someone else's laptop. I now have about 600 photos in my photo app that are not mine. How do I.delete these images.
Is there anyway to access my iTunes account from my IPad? I want to be able to sync my notes between my iPhone and iPad. Isn't there a way to do this without hooking up my ipad2 to my computer?
I have the current version of both Lion, iTunes, and the iPad software. For some reason I'm now unable to put certain music from my iTunes into iPad when I could before. I've reinstalled Lion, so I got a new copy of iTunes with that, and this evening I restored iPad. I'm still unable to put the same music I had before onto my iPad.
I want to transfer the music from my iPad, most of which is not purchased from iTunes, to the new computer (PC) but getting a message stating that the device is syched to another computer. Anyway to make my new computer the home computer and transfer the non-iTunes music without erasing the content of the iPad?
I have purchased a magazine subscription throught the iTunes store and I download it. I have checked the wireless network connection and it is good. In the receipt I receveid from Apple for the purchase, when I click on the "report a problem" link, I get a message which says unable to connect to the iTunes store.
