Feb 21, 2012Even when my ipad (and sometimes iphone) is not connected it still shows up on my itunes. How do I delete it?

ITunes :: Reinstalled Lion - Can't Sync Purchased Shows To IPad
Jul 1, 2012I've been having issues with Lion locking up ever since it was released, so I finally got around to reinstalling it. Now when I try to sync purchased TV shows to my iPad it tells my it can not sync because my computer is not authorized for the content. Oddly I am able to sync *some* content purchased from the iTunes store.Â
I have tried authorizing my computer as suggested in the error message to no avail. I also tried deauthorizing it and reauthorizing it but that also was of no help.

Jun 10, 2010I have a 13" MacBook Pro and it is not connecting to the internet! Airport says im connected to my internet connection, but safari won't load the internet. I tried Firefox and still, the same result. I resetted the modem and the router, but still nothing. The internet connection on my other computer works fine. So I got on the Windows partition and it connects to the internet! So it's just OSX that won't let me connect cause my Windows partition works fine.

Mar 29, 2009I found out what the problem is but i'm not sure which cable to get.My TV manual says 'Connect a D-Sub cable between PC IN [PC] connector on the TV and the PC output connector on your computer" (did that part <<) and then "Connect a PC Audio Cable between the PC IN [Audio} jack on the TV and the Audio Out jack of the sound card on your computer. . The port is next to the VGA cable in the pic.

I'm pretty sure that the latest drivers are installed.

Nov 30, 2014I usually connect my iPad as soon as I've heard the startup chimes, but since upgrading to Yosemite, whenever the iPad is connected, iPhoto opens. Usually, nothing will open until all my extension things like Dropbox are happy, but iPhoto somehow manages to kick off. Now, I don't like iPhoto. I don't understand it and it rarely does anything I want it to, so I don't often use it and I particularly do not want it to open, slowing up starting and serving no purpose.Â

Anyone else having this problem?No matter what I do, iPhoto is convinced that I'm not connected to the Internet and refuses to do anything with Places. I recall telling iPhoto to feel free submitting my information to the net when I first ran it, but now I can't find any related settings in Preferences. Not sure what to do.

Mar 31, 2008I just set OS X Leopard (10.5.2) up on my MBP again. I also use it on another MBP, a Mac Pro, and a Mac Mini but have an odd problem. I set up Back to my Mac but didn't see up file sharing, only screen sharing. Whenever I connect to the MBP from another computer on the network it says "Connected as: VNC" I don't remember that from before and whenever I connect to another other computers on my network I don't get this message. What does this mean? Is this something I should be concerned about?

May 15, 2012I just bought an iMac and a WD My Book Live. The first cause my old laptop when to the great binary cloud in the sky, the second cause I want to be able to consolidate my media. Over the years I have ripped by CDs and DVDs so when the time came I could stream all my media through out my house and devices. Because I will be using the Mac primarily for the forseeable future, I have moved my music and movies into their respective iTunes folders. I have started to move my TV shows. But when you add the folder in iTunes I am still only getting the lovely iStore Advert telling me to start looking. Is it because my store is the Irish iTunes Store? So does anyone have some advice as the best way to store my TV Shows and get them to show in iTunes.
