So I have 102 apps that can be updated via itunes. When I go to update them they start downloading like normal. When they finish downloading the app, the update is not applied and still shows as an update available for these apps. This happens even if I try to select just one app. I have already tried logging out of my itunes account and rebooting my system, but it hasn't fixed this problem.
I have an iphone 5s and from some months now I am not being able to update any apps. It happened all of a sudden, one day I could do it like always and the next day I couldn't anymore. No error sign appears. I changed my Apple ID and I can buy new apps but of course I cannot update the ones I already had with the new ID. If I try to buy again some of the apps I cannot update the Apple Store on my iphone reads it as I want to update them which is actually my problem.
iTunes (v 10.6.3 (25) has stopped updating Apps on my iPhone and iPad when I sync them. I can download and install the app updates from the devices OK, but the updates won't sync.
I receive this error every time I tell iTunes to download the updates to my iPhone apps. Funny thing is, I only get the error once, if I click Update All again it goes through without a problem. This has been going on for almost 6 months through multiple versions of iTunes, iOS and a whole new iPhone setup from scratch.
Error "The file “DMAccount.h” couldn’t be saved in the folder “Headers”" after 10.7.3 update. While app update download starts normaly the error msg pops up every time right at the end of download process and it starts all over (dnld-error-dnld-error... ("Try again", she asks me)).
When you sync your iPhone you sometimes get the following message:
Itunes has found purchased items on the iphone thats arenot present in your itunes library.
There are two reasons for this:
1. I have deleted apps in iTunes that I don't want, but not on the iPhone. I don't want to transfer the apps back to iTunes because I want them gone.
2. I have bought apps on the iPhone that I do want to keep. I want these transferred to iTunes.
So if I have both types 1 and 2 then there is no good answer. Preferably iTunes should offer to sync and choose which apps to transfer and what not to transfer. Is there a way to change this behaviour? By the time I sync I don't know what I've done so I'm usually not sure how to answer the question. Sometimes I like to bulk delete apps in iTunes--it is easier than doing it on the iPhone.

I just moved everything to iCloud, and set up a acct @me.com.Now I can't update any of my apps and I also still had money to redeem under my other acct id.
I have several updates in the app store on my macbook. There is no button on the update page that I can find that says I can "update all" the apps at once. How can I update all apps at once?

I have a lot of things showing up which i deleted the folders for, yet they are still in the update list. I don't want to just hide them, I want them gone from the list.
Ok we all love apps but every single day, I'm faced with updating at least two of my apps when I turn on my phone, then same thing all over again on my IPad , ohALANd wait there are 6 more on my desktop..can they not just automatically update and sync across all devices?
since updating to the new security requirements I cannot update my existing apps...i receive the cannot connect to the iTunes store note. However, I can use the store app to search, select, connect to the store and download new apps.
I've had this problem ever since upgrading to Lion quite awhile ago. Each update of Lion promises to fix various bugs, but this one just won't go away. Why is it that applications I've just updated (and which show in Finder as the current version) continue to show as needing updates in App Store. It doesn't matter what I do, delete caches, deleting plists, etc, every time I go to the App Store to check on NEW updates, it continues to show me the ones I've already updated, and it becomes my task to sort through the list looking for those updated since the last time I checked The only way I can tell is by update date. If the date is "today", then I know I haven't got the update.

First the specifics: I have a MacPro, Version 10.6.2 for OSX. I did the latest update that showed for Safari. It went to reboot and just sat there and hung. I waited for 10 minutes, then manually restarted the Mac. It came up, but then when I went to open Mail, I got an error that it couldn't open. I then clicked on ok, and tried to open another app, and it wouldn't open. I tried with several apps with the same result. I downloaded the MacOSXUpdCombo10.6.2.dmg and ran it with no problems, and the Apps will still not open?
When I try to update applications from the Mac App Store, I continouly get a message coming up saying an Unkown Error has occured and I should try again later (4).
I can't update my apps because I can't change my apple ID. I installed most of the apps using an old apple I'd. Do you have to update using the ID you installed the app with?
I'm unable to update the applications I've purchased through the Mac App Store. I've tried numerous workarounds (listed below), but to no avail. I've got a MacBook Pro (early 2011) running Lion 10.7.4. When I initially click either the Update or Update All (I've got multiple apps needing updates), I get error 13 after entering my Apple ID and password. I'm prompted yet again for my password for each app (why?), but then I get error 100, saying that I need to try again later.
Here's what I've tried, which have not worked for me:
* Removing Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore * Removing Library/Preferences/com.apple.appstore.plist * Clearing cache and cookies from Safari, and restarting Safari * iTunes workaround by d/l'ing a new app, then getting the T&C form doesn't apply: I don't get that form since I agreed to the latest version before this issue started. * Removing the file in Library/Cookies/ pertaining to the App Store doesn't exist for me, so wouldn't apply * Rebooting my machine * Deleting an app from my machine (only tested with a free app I don't use often), then trying to Install it; this worked back with Lion 10.7.3, but no longer works with 10.7.4.
I saw another workaround which involved creating another user on one's machine, but that seems over the top to have to get Mac App Store updates to work again. Are there any other workarounds where I could update my apps?
Running into the following problem. When I try to update some of my purchased apps, I get an error message stating that I need to sign into the account that I used to purchase the apps. I only have one Apple ID and use it to purchase apps. Now, I cannot perform any updates on these apps. I am worried that if I delete the apps and try to install them again through the Mac App Store, I will not be able to do so as I feel that the mapping between my account and the apps has been lost.

The app store has an update option next to some of my purchaced apps, but when I click update it says that they were purchased using another account. The problem is that I have only used one account on my Mac ever so it makes no sense. In the updates tab it says that all apps are up to date, but in the purchased tab it has an update option next to some of my apps. Can someone help explain this?
I am running OS X Yosemite 10.10 and only now am I having issues with updating iPhoto and iMovie. A family member set up my computer years ago but I prefer to update with my own ID incase there are ever costs involved, so it goes to my account.
Is there a way I can update with my own account or do I need to re-download the app? But then would I lose my photos? I can't open iPhoto at all and it's getting frustrating as I need to access them NOW!
- I can't login to update software/apps. the user /Apple ID part is grayed out as a person. I can't log in properly. It only offers up the password section. I can log into my apple id without problem, but it won't let me change the user name for updates.
- I use Chrome and it used to default to Google for search. Now it defaults to yahoo! even though in my preferences I have google set as default.
- I've gone through and deleted start-up software that started showing up (DropBox on launch, ipseacurity something)
- my background swapped out to a default today without me adjusting it.
- I used to be able to type directly into the chrome bar. now a chrome extension shows up instead and I have to select all and delete to enter text
- everything is running really slowly.
Further background - I'm currently serving in the Peace Corps and have been using a VPN network and modem through Orange to secure my wifi connection. I've tried to be careful but perhaps not careful enough. I have gone through all my extensions and settings and dumped everything I didn't recognize but am not sure what other precautions to take/how to fix things.
I want to update an app on my iphone but my daughter's email comes up. I don't know her password how do I restore my phone to my identity. I've tried changing the settings etc. But whenever I try to download something it still flashes her email up. Why do they make these things so difficult or am I being totally thick?
