ITunes :: "This Item Cannot Be Downloaded On This Network"
Mar 22, 2012
Whenever I try to download a purchased video from the cloud, whether it be a previously purchased movie or TV show, I get the following message: "This Item Cannot be Downloaded on This Network -- you must be connected to a WiFi network or download it on your computer." I would expect to see this while downloading from an iPhone over 3G, but this is on my home iMac connected to my cable broadband internet via wireless-N connection. Very very strange. I have not yet tried to download a new video purchase -- only previously purchased videos from the cloud that I no longer have on my hard drive. iTunes still downloads large app updates (over 50 MB) just fine.
I get a pop-up: This Item Cannot Be Downloaded on This Network You must connect to a Wi-Fi network or download it on your computer.yet I am on wi-fi using a macbook pro, trying to purchase a movie from iTunes to download onto my computer.Macbook Wi-fi to linksys to DSL to AT&T 3Mb service. I don't know if this is a hardware, OS, iTunes issue or other.Â
I am trying to rent some movies in the iTunes store but regardless of what account I use it keeps popping up with the message of: "This item cannot be downloaded on this network, you must connect to a wifi network or download it on your computer". My computer is already online, I am able to access the iTunes store, just not download!
I was looking to access the file sharing functionality of one of my apps (AV Player HD) in iTunes 12 and wasn't able to find out where or how to do this in the new version.Â
After a bit of searching on the internet I gathered I needed to select my device (iPad in this case) from the devices drop down, then on the left hand sidebar under the menu heading 'On My Device' I should see "Apps" listed there along with Music and Movies etc. I have:
Music MoviesTv Shows Books Audio Tones
and then some music playlists..That's it. So my questions are:
1. where is 'Apps'?
2. how am I supposed to access file sharing on AV Player HD if I can't see this menu item?Â

I've uninstalled appdelete as I now use cleanapp. Anyway, I have uninstalled it but the contextual menu is still present. I have tried looking at the services and libraries but cannot locate the specific item needed to be deleted to remove the appdelete contextual menu item.
I downloaded OS X 10.7.4 update and my entire airport network became dreadfully slow. I've been using my iMac as a basestation and my ibooks could find it easily...not anymore...they can find it but the connection works very slow if not at all..
I just downloaded the intel version of KisMAC and I've been trying to open up a WEP wireless network, they problem i am having is i keep getting an error "no Injection driver, please select one from the preference dialog" but i can't seem to find anything about injection drivers in the preference dialog. i started the scan but i can't de-authenticate or authenticate flood or anything, can someone tell me what im doign wrong?
secondly, there is 15 SSID's found by KisMAC and one of them is "FBI_SURVEILANCE_CC64" and 2 <any ssid> and their type is "probe" whatever that means, everyone else's says "managed"
I bought the album 《The Black Parade Is Dead!》(Audio/Video Deluxe Version) just now, but I have problem downloading the audio Disenchanted (Live in Mexico) and The Sharpest Lives(Live in Mexico).
The iTunes download it over and over again but can't complete it. The other audios and videos can be downloaded properly.
I've changed a computer, but it ended the same. It seems to be an error with the iTunes store that the data is corrupted.
my iTunes 10.6.1 on OS X 10.7.3 has been telling me 'you have 1 item awaiting download' for the last 3 or four days.but, when i select '1 iTunes download available' in download or 'download now' in iTunes account or Store/Check for Available Downloads, nothing downloads and the message remains.i've tried downloading a free tv episode to clear the count or reset the count. it says 2 downloads availabe and the free episode does indeed download. then the message goes back to 1 available.
iTunes won't quit when I ask it to do, and thinks it is syncing my iPad even when it is removed physically also. How can I make iTunes quit without enforcing, because then, after restart attempt, it says that it can't startup by lack of access to a locked item.
I don't usually check my itunes account, but today I actually decided I wanted to buy music. I put a $100 gift card I got from buying a Mac for college in a few months ago, and bought like $9 worth of stuff and just left it idle. It says that about 2 weeks ago there were purchases made to download an app and then some gem **** (in app content) that cost $80 ******* dollars that was bought. I'm not worried about my personal information because i don't use a legitimate adress and only buy gift cards, because I like to live off the apple grid i guess...w/e, WHO DO I EMAIL TO GET THAT MONEY BACK!!!

One of the songs I downloaded does not play to the end...it seems cut off. What can I do? I don't have the option to re-download anywhere without paying for the song again.
I downloaded a movie from the iTunes Store to my MacBook Pro (all latest software) and iTunes says it can't play the movie. Specific error says "This movie requires Quicktime which is not supported by this version of iTunes." I'm running iTunes 10.6.1 and MacOS 10.7.3.
I bought a song on itunes and my daughter closed my macbookpro when I was downloading it. I opened my macbook and double clicked on the song and it wouldn't play. I realized it was gray.

I have just downloaded a movie from iTunes Store. It has downloaded, but not showing in iTunes. The file is there & it plays fine. When I have manually tried to add into to iTunes, it will not do it either. What could be wrong
delete something before its fully downloaded?? i have a bunch of videos that arent fully downloaded. i do not want them. what do i do. everytime i delet them close itunes open it theyre still there!
I recently purchased "Now That's What I Call Music, Vol. 42". Half of the songs only play for about half time and then switch to the next song in ITunes. I think I might have only downloaded part of the songs that don't play through entirety. When I parchased and downloaded I didn't have a reliable internet connection. Â
I can only hear but not see TV shows downloaded into iTunes. I've never had that problem in the past. I have a MacBook Pro, 2.5 Ghz intel core 16 GB of memory. I've always watched TV shows and movies through iTunes on my computer, and all of a sudden I can't see the image. I image the problem is a setting in iTunes, but I can't find anything that will resolve the problem.
