Why I can not sync 720p movies on my iphone 3gs? When I try to sync by selecting the film does not give me any error message but then there isn't on the iPhone.

Apple when they did their press conference for the new Apple TV - specifically stated that previous purchases of movies from iTunes could be updated to 1080p. There was no charge involved, I just needed to redownload them. I wish that were the case. What am I missing? All my preferences state 1080p. Viewing my purchases shows all my movies I can download and pretty much all of them are available in HD. Yet, they are still downloading in SD (720p). Why? Online support/itunes sends me in a loop as far as downloading in 1080p. It never answers the question.Â
Do I need to re-buy (not going to happen) all my movies in HD to get HD? That wasn't what was stated by Apple. Â
I've got a softmodden XBOX (1) with a 500GB HDD wich I mainly use to watch movies on my tv (XBMC). I've got an MacBook and an iPhone wich syncs with the MacBook. Is there any way I can tell my MacBook iTunes library that the mp3's and movies are on a shared map of the XBOX?
What I want is this:
- Watch movies and listen to mp3's on my XBOX with XBMC in the livingroom (already doing that)
- Sync my iPhone with the iTunes on my MacBook with mp3's/movies from the XBOX
- Use an Airport Express in my studyroom with the mp3's on my XBOX
(I'm also planning to use a part of the 500GB XBOX HDD for Time Machine, but that's a different story)
I have a 13MBP 2.26ghz 2GB ram etc and when i try to play 720p movies like harry potter or deja vu, during action scenes the playback becomes choppy and the video turns into a bunch of squares and i usually miss a few second of the scene. it usually happens on graphic intensive screens such as the a girl dropped her teddy bear into the ocean waves and in harry potter 4 when all the glass frames break from the wall and fall down. How do I stop it from reloading on my iPad if I no longer want them there? I know if I unselect it from iTunes it removes it but thats not my issue.

I have a HD movie that I bought from iTunes and when I want to sync the movie to my 4S, it only shows the SD version in itunes under the iphone 4s movie sync tab. It shows the HD version if I launch it from my imac, but for some reason I can't get it to sync the HD version to the 4S.Â
I did originally buy the HD movie on my 4S but had to download it at home on my mac due to large file sizes.Â
Any reason why my imac can see the HD movie but neither my iphone 4s or ipad 2 can sync the hd movie?Â

I've been syncing my devices for years, but after I updated to iTunes 10.6 then attempted to sync my iPhone 4, iTunes aborts and does not complete the sync. I tried my iPad as well with exactly the same results. So, I expect that something has begun corrupted in iTunes and I tried to revert to the previous version of iTunes with Time machine, but the Mac reported that I cannot remove iTunes.It could be a library that is corrupt or a cache of some sort, but I can't tell.Â

I recently discovered this issue that iTunes wouldn't sync lyrics over to my iPhone for some tracks.
I transferred all my music to this computer, and also authorized it. Whenever I hook up my iPhone to my computer, it appears in iTunes and the iPhone sync page opens, but when I push "sync" nothing happens. Why does my phone not sync to my iTunes now?

I just bought a new Macbook Pro and I cannot get my IPhone 4S to sync with itunes without deleting more than half of my data. I have authorized the computer already and I went through and checked all the boxes for the information I wanted to sync - but the info will not transfer and about half of my Apps were removed from my phone (without being added to itunes on the computer) - I had to go back and reinstall the ones I lost to my phone.

My iPod touch and iPhone cannot be synced with my iTunes. This is not an issue with my USB ports or cord as the computer recognizes the devices are plugged in and begins charging them. I've updated everything and restarted, nothing is working.

Ever since upgrading to iTunes 10.6.1 on Mac running Lion (10.7.3), my iPhone 4S will no longer Wi-fi sync. On the iPhone, going to Settings > General > iTunes Wi-fi Sync shows "Sync Now" as greyed out with the message that it will sync the next time my Mac is on even though the Mac is on and has iTunes running. The iPhone does not appear in the Devices list in iTunes unless I plug it in via USB. Once the iPhone is syncs over USB, I am able to Wi-fi sync properly until I shutdown or restart the Mac then I have the same problem again.
