I need to switch the computer I use for synching my iphone, iPad and iPod to another computer. Is there an automated procedure? If not is there a prescribed procedure for doing this manually?
View 1 RepliesI just upgraded from a iPhone 5 to 5S. I upgraded the storage and am trying to move all my songs from my iTunes library on my mac to my phone. When I go to play them on my phone, they're all in there, but have the cloud w/ the down arrow and won't play. I try to download them, but it says my iTunes match is expired. I have them stored on my computer, have tried syncing all, checked all the individual songs, albums, and playlists, and tried dragging them over.

Since this doesn't have much storage i recently moved my entire 40Gb iPhoto onto an external drive. This worked great and love the new storage i have on my mac.
I plug my GoPro into my mac and it imports the photos onto the iPhoto on my external drive.
However the problem occurs when i try get those new photos onto my iPhone, i plug it in and go to photos on my phone in iTunes and it only shows my old iPhoto stuff, so i can't get those new photos across to my iPhone. I've tried the choose file option and chosen external drive but i doesn't seem to work?

Subject pretty much says it all. The Mac is a macBook with Yosemite. The iPhone is an iPhone6. When I plug the iPhone in, select the iPhone, select apps,
I see a list of apps located approximatly in the middle of the screen, with the option to select remove or install. On the right the home screens are shown etc.
I'm unable to select an icon on any of these screens. When I click an icon and attempt to drag it, ITunes wants to move the entire home screen.

iTunes 12 just won't sync to the 6 Plus, It keeps telling me that computer is not authorized.
1. I've gone through he de-auth and re-auth dozens of times, also deauth'd all devices and re-auth just this Macbook Pro.
2. Gone through steps in the article iTunes repeatedly prompts to authorize computer to play iTunes Store purchases
3. My old 5S still syncs fine.
4. iTunes recognized the device plugged in but it is not seen in Manage Devices
5. While plugged in iTunes recognizes the App updates I do on the device and changes them from Will Install to Remove status after the update. Also was able to do an OS upset to 8.1.1 while plugged in so it knows how to communicate to the device but just can't sync.
I did a restore of a saved 5S which only brought back abut 20% of my apps. In looking at the Apps section when the device is plugged I see my other 100+ apps and screen configurations but hitting the sync results in the computer not authorized rejection dialog.

Basically, I have some videos on my iPhone I bought from iTunes, which are also on the hard drive of my battery-looks-to-be-dead iBook G4. I want to copy the videos onto iTunes on my new MacBook Pro but the only option in iTunes seems to be to transfer content the other way around. I am getting a 2008 Mac Pro and handing off my 2006 mac Pro to the wife. What is the easiest way to move all my stuff. The 2008 comes with Leopard.
