ITunes :: Can't Get Into The Account Info On The Store To Check Account Info
Jun 9, 2012I am unable to get into my account info on the iTunes store to check my account info. I keep getting a message that it is unavailable and try later, but this has been going on for weeks.

Jan 6, 2011I'm unable to either login or access account info on the Mac App Store. I click "Login" or "Account" from the sidebar and absolutely nothing happens. I sit and wait, thinking perhaps it's just a little slow, and nothing. Anybody else having this issue and is there any way to fix it?

Jun 27, 2012I have credit cards from Thailand and the UAE. When I try to enter my information it comes up with Thai for the the Thai cards and Arabic for the UAE cards. I have tried uisng the US associated with my account but it asks for different credit card info. I need to know how to enter the information in English.

OS X :: How Do I Edit Stored Personal Info?

1). When I set up my iMac and Macbook Pro for the first time, it asked me for my name, address, city, zip, phone, etc.... well my address and phone has changed. How do I edit so the updated info displays into forms automatically? And can I turn off the automatic insertion of information when filling forms?
2). My Macbook Pro 2.8 came with leopard obviously. I have an iMac 2.8 that did not come with Leopard and wish to install Leopard. Can I use the OS dvd that came with my Macbook Pro to install Leopard or should I buy the $29 upgrade dvd? And can I do this without erasing all my program application files?

May 24, 2012I bought this new MacBook Pro a month ago. When I try logging into my guest account, it froze. I had no other alternative but to get out of it by pressing the power button. Then I tried open a new user account to see if it also has the same problem. Unfortunately it did have the same problem - froze after I logged in. I had done a harddisk check, there seemed to be no problem.

My question is, how can I erase my account on the system so that whenever the new owner gets it, he/she gets the Leopard start up screen (The one like when you purchase a new Mac and you have to setup your account i.e. the "welcome" screen)?

Mar 30, 2012file permissions - how to edit a user account that is creating files with permissions that are not wanted anymore. i understand how to reset permissions on files or folders, but i do not understand how to reset the permissions a user is "creating". ie, each time this user creates a file, the file needs to be manually edited for its permissions. so i need to edit the user's settings, but i can't find where to do that. this is a home office setup. we have two users with admin privileges. our imac is acting as a server of sorts - it holds common files that need to be edited by both users. the other user is typically working on shared files from a macbook over wifi.

Jun 19, 2014I desperately need to update my MacBook Air -- however - when I attempt to do so, the login window appears - and it has my OLD email account from YEARS ago, not the one associated with this computer. If I go to iTunes - the correct email address for my account appears. If I go into my settings - the email address is correct. I don't get it -- it's the right email address associated with this computer and my APPLE ID account - but when I try to perform my software updates - it has an OLD unused email account in the APPLE ID box, and it is NOT changeable -- you can't click on it or change it in any way.

I would like to change this (using some other appleid to separate these accounts from mobileme) so that I don't need to renew my mobileme subscription. From Apple websites, I cannot do this, AppleID cannot be changed if it is a mobileme id.
How can I do? What will happend if my mobileme subscription finished? All accounts will be finished or what else?
OS X :: No Access For Network Connection For Guest Account
Mar 1, 2010After creating a guest account I noticed that anyone uses that account can use my (remembered) secured network connection. Normally, in my network settings, remembering used networks option is checked. When I look into the keychain, I see two entries for my network name. One is in my logins section and the other is in the system section. I suppose, the guest uses the entry which is in the system section. If I delete the entry which is in system section, it is been created again on next connection.
If I do not want any guest to use my network connection, I am having to cancel the remembering used network option and select disconnect on logging out option in airport advanced settings. But; if do this, I am having to select my network and type its password every time I login. I simply want if a guest uses the Guest Account, he wouldn't able to use my network connection without entering the correct password. Is it possible?
