Jun 8, 2012I tried to remove a user group from my desktop following the procedures given. I could remove all but one user.
This is the one I want to remove. How can I do this? I have 4 user groups. Why?, when ever I had trouble and called AppleCare they had me install a new user group, which I never removed.

IMac :: Lost My Apps Folder On Dock But Apps Are There?
Dec 18, 2009I have a new 21.5" iMac and have been playing around with everything. When I started two weeks ago I had an Apps folder with the Apps logo on the dock to the right of the dotted separation. All the applications are there lined up with the first application showing but for my consternation I cannot put the Applications in there folder like it was when I started out two weeks ago. This is the Snow Leopard OS.

May 19, 2012How can I delete Apps and iBooks from iTunes so that do not constantly re-sync with iPad or iPhone even though I specifically un-check them NOT to sync? I have to go thru this every time! I don't even want them any longer on iTunes (or iPad) but I can't find a way to remove them from iTunes! Apple used to be so easy and intuitive but now so much is hidden/fixed).

Jul 1, 2014there is a couple of apps that have appeared in my launch pad and i can't delete them. I've been holding the track pad until it shakes and theres no option to delete. the apps are smart converter pro 2 and Microsoft silver light. i may add that i haven't downloaded these apps and are confused where they have come from!

Aug 23, 2014I've never really felt the need to delete apps from this interface, but there are a bunch showing up I do not recall installing. They are not listed in the Applications folder. I cannot drag them to the trash can, and no 'x' pops up in the corner when I get the icons wiggling. I found some command on some website for deleting things through terminal but I tried it and it did not work (some error about "too many options"). Again I repeat there is no 'x' on the app icons and there is no way to make it appear.

ITunes For Mac :: How To Get Purchased Apps To New Computer
Aug 25, 2014The MacBook Pro that I have used for iTunes crashed yesterday, fortunately I have a Time Machine backup. I was informed that it was unlikely that I could repair the system given its age. With that understanding I began to restore my files etc onto our iMac system.  I used the Data Migration tool and copied everything across.Â
For my music in iTunes I simply downloaded all of the songs from the cloud to the new system. All is well there. However I do not see any of the Apps that I have purchased previously on my older system. I was able to locate them on the Time Machine backup and I copied them to the following folder: Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/Mobile Apps.  When I restart iTunes they are not present in the Apps folder. How I can get iTunes to recognize these Apps or is there a way download purchased Apps from the iTunes store?  I had the latest version of Mavericks installed
