I wasn't exactly happy with Safari browser as it would block many sites and were considered incompatible so I downloaded the free Firefox browser (the 2.0 version) of which I still have. I'm aware that there is a much newer version and would like to download that, but I've heard a lot of people saying they have been having severe problems with it, but then they have PCs and not Macs. So my question is for you Mac users that use Firefox, have you had major problems with the newer version? I'm real hesitant to download if I'm going to have the same problem PC users are having...like constantly crashing. Also would my old Tiger software be compatible? I don't want to upgrade to Leopard.

Oct 2, 2008I love osx leopard with just a few exceptions. I hate the ugly gray menu and title bar colors.
I found a utility to change the menu bar color (LeoColorBar) and was able to change the menu bar color to match my firefox theme, (Aeon Clouds 2.9.1).
It would be great to change the firefox title bar as well. Do you know of any utility or terminal command that would make this possible? I use the latest version of firefox, 3.0.3.

When I try to update my web site (on mobileme), it builds all of the pages and then gives an unknown error and fails. Aug 31, 2010i have a G4, serial number qt21106cl3v. i just installed os x 10.2.3. i cant get on fb or any site that uses flash. it says for me to download shockwave. ive tried and it wont install. i tried to download a new browser, like firefox, or another version of safari and i have no luck.
i cant decide whether its a virus or what. i just got the computer from a yard sale and its in excellent condition. i had to reinstall os x though cuz it had no os. any ideas?? you can find additional info by searching for specs through the serial. i have no prior knowledge of macs and am trying to learn quickly.
also, as in the heading, safari keeps crashing when i try to download any kind of new browser, and the auto updates arent working either.
