IMac (Intel) :: Possible To Highlight Today In Calendar?
Dec 11, 2014
Since Yosemite upgrade, Calendar highlights today with a small red dot. In the past the whole day was highlighted. Is it still possible to highlight today?
Replacing labels with tags is not at all useful particularly for the large market segment of over 50's audience. Those small coloured dots do not work for me distinguish events in my different calendars. Can MAC please bring back labels so that we ca see all our appointments as it was below.
Lol I've never had any tech problems with my Macs, and today at school I used a Windows box. The whole class had to use them (the reason why is not important). Anyway, for the whole hour and a half I didn't do anything because the ****** Winbox failed on me... Even the ICT teacher at the school didn't have a clue... Lol then she said that I'd be better when the school gets Macs
After the flashback malware last week and the update from Apple to get rid of the trojan, Adobe is asking for another update to there software. Is this ok to download or are we asking for more trouble. My computer was affected last week and with the removal tool it was fixed. I just hate the thought of another version. Anyone downloaded this update from adobe?
I have a further problem with my "time capsule" - When I go in to the time machine it will only show me what has backed up today - nothing from yesterday at all??
I've been told it's possible to sync. an application on my iMac to my iPad.  I use the calendar specifically for the event reminders that I set up on the desktop Mac when I'm at home, but it would be good if I could access this information on my iPad when I'm away from home.Â
when i try to highlight text to move it... the highlight disappears... it won't stay.. is that a Mouse problem or a Lion problem..... my imac is pretty old.... 5-6 years?
My iMac running OS 10.6.8 is suddenly not displaying the message when I highlight an email. It highlights in blue but I now have to open every email to see the content.I have two email accounts connected.Gmail for work and hotmail for personal. Also, I have noted diminished search capability over the past month or so.
Apparently I allowed iCloud to delete all of my calendar and reminder information from my Mac.Can I restore it from iCloud, if not can I restore it from Time Machine?
I've activated icloud and its caused problems with my calenders. if i stop it will i loose all my calender events. Its duplicated and removed some for my mobile devices.
I am new to my Mac and want to know who to clear the history in my "Today" folder in Finder. To be clear, I don't want to remove the Today folder but just clear the contents of the applications that I have opened.
On a side note, I would also like to know how to set up finder so that the "Today" folder won't show that I have opened anything (rather then having to go back and remove the history after the fact).
I've lost the 'Touched Today' menu item from Finder. It's a 'smart' folder, I know, but I'm not sure exactly how it was set up. Also, if you're an expert on these 'smart' folders, why do I sometimes find today's items at the bottom of the list in the 'unknown date' section? Is there a set of useful 'smart' folders somewhere?

I think I have set it up as directed, but I get this message on the ical on my Mac. The server responded with "HTTP/1.1 401 Unauthorized" to operation CalDAVAccountRefreshQueueableOperation.
iCal on my iMac is set to sync with iCloud. It syncs fine, but keeps adding syncs for the same calendar. I go in and delete them (it will be 30+ in one day) and then it does it all over again. How do I fix this?
When I hide a Google calendar from the calendar list online, the calendar continues to show up on Mac OS X Mavericks Calendar. How can I get that calendar to not show up in Apple's Calendar without completely deleting it from my Google account?
