I would like to create a mailing list that I can send out to a group of people using mail, I would like to store there contact information under a group called 'mailing list' but I do not want the contacts to appear in my main address book. Is there an app or a way to use mail so i can email the group but not have their contact information in my address book?

I have their email addresses stored in my address book, but how do I set up a mailing list which contains all members names and email addresses so I can send just one email which will reach all of them? I am sure this is an easy thing to do, but I just can't seem to fathom out how to do it.

Now I'd like to create a mailing list / group so that I can easly contact all of them if need be. I tried creating a new group and dragging all of the emails into it to no avail. I also tried right clicking and checking the menus to see if there were any options which there weren't.
I'd be open to using automator or something similar if it worked.

how do I create a file list and then create a way to batch rename in os x? I know the commands, but I don't know of a way to do it on more than one file at a time. I have found a few renaming apps but they all appear to be focused on just iterating up instead of renaming specific files to a new name.
I tried using the mail application that comes with the MacBook Pro. I set up my hotmail account on Mail. I just keep getting old mail on my hotmail account. Is this normal? Are the Mail meant to receive both old and new mail on it and saved it to my mac? Or are there any other application that you guys use that you use instead of Mail?

Here's a list of some of the moderate changes I'd like to see in the 2011 iMac:
1) A USB port on the side, perhaps below the SD card slot.
2) A USB port on the other side as well.
3) A wireless keyboard with a number pad, just like the Apple wired keyboard.
4) A power/sleep LED. Maybe make the Apple logo translucent and stick the LED behind it.
5) If not Blu-Ray playback, at least an option for a drive that can read BR data disks.
6) A matte finish option.
7) An included IR remote and a place on the side to store it, just like the old G5 iMacs.
8) HDMI output for those using as HDTV for a second monitor.
9) Have the iTunes music library be pre-loaded with every song Apple has already offered via their Free Song of the Week program.
10) A hardware diagnostics disk.
11) An option to substitute the trackpad for the mouse.

I was reviewing audio books on my wish list and the list just became empty. I have stopped and restarted iTunes and I have manually re-logged into my apple account but the list keeps coming up empty. I have tried both the shortcut on the top right and from the drop down on the top left but nothing. Is this a temporary issue with Apple..I'm on a Mac running OS10.9.4 and iTunes 11.3.1
