Jul 14, 2009I had all my purchased itunes stuff on my Aluminum Mac and it crashed after 6 months of ownership. Is there anyway to recover all my iTunes stuff????

ITunes :: Cannot Transfer Stuff From Library On IMac To IPad?
Jun 23, 2012I just noticed that I cant bring up my music/tvshows/movies from my itunes library (from my mac) on my ipad. I checked all the home sharing setting on the mac and on the ipad, restarted everything, to no avail! My apple tv works fine! I recently updated my OS on the iMac to 10.7.4, would this cause the issue? I am running 5.1.1 on the ipad.

Apr 3, 2010Im new to the whole time machine/external HD thing. When I plug my external in and time machine does its thing, will it overwrite the existing copy of my computer that the external already has? Also, will it copy my windows partition (and everything within) or do I do that seperately?

Aug 21, 2010my old g5 1.6ghz bit the dust and I was finally able to upgrade. The only stuff I really want to save is the itunes music I have on there. The question is, how do I get it over? The g5 is running 10.2.8. Feasibly couldn't I just transfer all the music onto a flash drive and put it on the imac that way? Oh one more things, I don't have a monitor for the g5 tower... could I use the imacs screen for my g5? And yeah how would I do that.

Mar 15, 2012For some reason, collections/videos that appear in the iTunes U section cannot be sorted by name. Even if you add a sortname to the videos, they can't seem to be sorted. What gives? I've had a few things that came in out of order (it looks like some files were re-released and with about 50 items, it makes it a chore to hunt down the correct file to view.

Jul 9, 2010I was uploading some video from my camera to iphoto when my computer crashed. I turn it back on and everything I had in itunes Apps, music, movies, etc. is now gone (over 120 movies and 15,000 songs and 300 playlists) the files are still on my computer thankfully but what is the fastest and easiest way to get that stuff back into itunes? Also where are my app files they are not in the "mobile applications" folder in my itunes file folders? I have everything backed up on time machine but this really pisses me off anyone know where I can start?

Mar 13, 2012So, my current Apple ID is under an email that I deactivated (it was hacked into). I wanted to create a new ID using my current email. But will I lose everything on my iTunes library if I get a new one? Meaning is my music and apps and whatnot saved to my computer or the application itself versus my Apple ID? I know that if I create a new ID that I can just transfer everything from my iPod to iTunes, but I have a 2G iPod Touch and it's a real pain in the neck when I sync it to iTunes (freezes/gets stuck/really slow). I use the newest version (10.6 I believe? Just downloaded it a couple of days ago) for Mac.

I will be in word, move the cursor and it will take a few seconds to get there. Aug 4, 2010I bought a 21.5 i3 iMac a couple days ago. I was wondering if it was normal for the computer to be hot to touch on the back. The top back on the iMac is insanely hot too touch. I also just installed windows 7 and I noticed after I ejected the CD it was super super super hot as well. Is this all normal for iMacs? Thanks for your help!
