Mar 28, 2012I have been trying to download Cloud 1.I put my Apple ID and Password in.It didn't take.I changed my password and it still didn't take.Also, when I tried to download mobile me, it wanted my 'member name and ID'.Is that separate? All I want to do, actually , is sink my contacts in Yahoo to gmail on safari.I was able to do that on Mail in Mac, but not on Safari.

ICloud :: Reset The Email Address Associated With AppleID?
Mar 24, 2012Upon the strong suggestion by the Apple website that I change my primary e-mail address to match my AppleID, I did. I actually have two Apple IDs. The first one never had an e-mail associated with it that I know of, the second one was my MobleMe email (i.e., the second AppleID matched the primary email address for that account). I should also add that my iTunes account, plus all purchases are with the first AppleID.
Now, to my horror, I discover that there are no options to configure this e-mail account, The first AppleID was a @mac.com account, and that e-mail address does not work. I can't get it to work either. Everything I send to it bounces back, which now means that all my iTunes purchase receipts, etc., will be sent to a non-existent address that I can configure or create.

Dec 6, 2014Trying to reset my apple id password via email. I click "Email authentication" and get a confirmation that an email has been sent. But I don't receive an email.
Can it be that using an apple id / email address like myname+private@gmail.com causes problems?

I'm often forced to reset passwords; like today: I tried to log in to use my icloud email address and had to reset the password - again even though I had used for my apple ID minutes before!!. This repeating problem has become a real headache and I want to kill off the old unused apple i/ds and start afresh so i can link my information etc over all my hardware. can this be achieved if I present all my prior information for deletion?

Sep 2, 2014When I tried to log into iCloud I got a message that for security reasons I needed to reset may pass word. I have tried to do that 3 different times. Each time I get this email:The password for your Apple ID has been successfully reset.If you didn’t make this change or if you believe an unauthorized person has accessed your account, go to iforgot.apple.com to reset your password immediately. Then sign in to My Apple ID to review and update your security settings.
However, when I try to login to iCloud I keep getting the same message that the password has been disabled. I can not figure what is going on as I was able to login to this forum with the new password.

I have changed everything I can think to change and read every help topic I can find on the subject and performed every fix they have suggested. Jun 30, 2014Went to "Manage Apple ID" and changed e-mail and password last night. Received confirming e-mails and sent back verification. Today when I started up my Mac and iPhone, got messages telling me I'm not connected to iCloud, messaging is "offline", in short, neither the new or old e-mails or passwords are being recognized. Yet, "Manage Apple ID" will let me logon with new info.

Sep 10, 2014I have lately gotten notifications that my i-cloud account have been used logging in on a browser. Since I could not truly verify that this was me doing so I did check for updating my password. Two things happened.
1) The e-mail returned to me from i-cloud to reset was empty ? (Is there currently a system problem?
2) I then tried to go through security questions process - but i-cloud tells me my birthdate and year is invalid.

I tried to put the osx cd in and press c or option on startup and all I get is a lock asking for a password. On normal logon it asks for user name and password. He remembers the user but not the password. Is there any way to reset it completely?
He deleted my user and saved my files on his side.

Oct 25, 2009I just recently got an iBook G3. I found it in my towns recycling center and brought it home. The user on it does not have admin privileges. Seeing how it's old and is running 10.2 I was just going to install some sort of Linux on it. I went to go boot into a CD and it came up with a grey screen with a password prompt? I don't have the password. Does the same thing if I try to boot into single user mode.

holding down the command +s key when we hear the tone of imac at the startup and then insert some command line.
The issue with me is that i tried it in mnay ways but i cant get to the terminaleverytime at the startup i use apple+s key ,nothing happens ,it loads normally and gets to the login screen, keys seems to be fine what can be the issue and is it there any way to get to the terminal w/o having cd etc.
