ICloud :: ICloud Limit 10 V. Unlimited "hub"

How does the old rule of syncing unlimited number of iOS devices to one Mac figure into the 10-device limit if one activates iCloud account?I have not activated iCloud because it limits me to 10 devices total, be they Mac or iOS, and I feared that it would then wipe out the old rule of syncing unlimited devices to one Mac.
We're a family of five with two iMacs, three MacBooks, two iPads, one iPhone, three iPod touches, as well as our Macs at our workplace.We've been using a big home iMac with its master iTunes library as our "hub" to sync to each week.If I activate an iClud account, and sync ten of our key devices, then am I giving up unlimited sync to our home iTunes on our home iMac?

I have a Mac mini at home and at work. I have iCloud. When I first logged into my home computer using Back to My Mac, it was kind of a shocker to have complete access to everything. That's not what I want. I just want access to one folder (which I called Inbox) into which I can drop documents so that I don't have to take a USB drive home with me. My document needs are just one way sending documents home (I'll file them appropriately when I get home). The added benefit is that if anyone cracks my iCloud password they can access only that one folder.Is there a way to limit access to just one folder? I tried adding my Inbox folder in Sharing in System Preferences but all that does is list that folder along with the volumes when I log into Back to My Mac from work.

I have Imac.When we moved from mobile me to icloud, the calendar no longer pushes to icloud.Message in calendar is: The calendar url... was not found on the server. Make sure the URL is correct.

I have been trying to download Cloud 1.I put my Apple ID and Password in.It didn't take.I changed my password and it still didn't take.Also, when I tried to download mobile me, it wanted my 'member name and ID'.Is that separate? All I want to do, actually , is sink my contacts in Yahoo to gmail on safari.I was able to do that on Mail in Mac, but not on Safari.

I'm in the UK but the only ICloud time zone I'm offered is the Pacific. I'd be grateful for suggestions on how to sync my calendar in the week view with BST. At present the nearest I can get is the Azores.Â

I had a Mobileme account and have changed over to iCloud. In the last three days when receiving mail my accounts have gone offline on two different computers. I can still access them by signing into iCloud, but not from the mail application. I went to accounts and the "incoming mail server" is blank. I have tried creating a new account with "imap.mail.me.com" , but it still did not connect. Has something changed at iCloud?

I had/have a family pack Mobile me account.we shared itunes music apps etc and of course had separate emails I followed the instructions to transition to the icloud so we could continue to share apps and music but have separate email accounts, calendars etc we have ipad/iphone/desktop.
when the secondary person sent emails my name was appearing on her email with her email address. I went deeper into "settings on the ipad and iphone and changed the name for emails. I think that solved it.Â
when I go under the apple on her desktop to system preferences to: icloud it has the wrong name. I can go into account details and type her name in but the grayed out name under the icloud is still me and when I go back to account details it reverts back to my nameÂ
when I go to mail contacts and calenders her name and account is correct for the mail but again, the icloud is incorrect...has my name. She does not have my calendars or contacts and I don't have hers

I am trying to set up my IPhone and IPad with Icloud. We have an existing Mobile Me account and our home computer is an IMac. When we try to set up Icloud on my phone it asks me to set up a new mobile me account and won't let me put in my existing account.

well heres my problem, i will be surfing the internet like a speed demon.. pages loading in an insanly short period of time (much fast than mozilla)
but every.. 1 in 10 i would say, pages just get stuck whilst loading (just infront of the http:// area) and i would need to go back a page and re click the link..
its not a major problem it just gets on my nerves sometimes whilst surfing.

When I try to access iCloud or apple store from my Air the password of my mac account is not recognized, but this happens just with this specific computer, not with the MacBook pro or with my office Pro. It seems that mobilme account is not recognizing the computer. I can access and buy form the iTunes store, though.I contacted Apple support but no luck?

There's no facility (that I can find) on iweb to publish a website using icloud, as it only offers mobileme and idisk. How do you get round this? Or should I jettison iweb and use other software? Can anyone recommend software that is as simple to use as iweb? I need something that is quick to set up, good-looking and capable of being dismantled quickly when the site has served its purpose.I've been into the app store but there are lots and they all seem to cost 54.99 sterling.

Switched over from Mobileme to Icloud. Icloud keeps signing me out. There seems to be no set amount of time. Sometimes it will stay signed in for days, other times it will sign out after just an hour or two.
