ICloud :: Get Bookmark Syncing To Work?

So I have 3 Mac's here all running Lion. I deleted all bookmarks from one Mac and turned on and off the Bookmark Sync button inside system pref, then hit "Merge". It found something from somewhere and stuffed it in there. I've done the Merge part on the other Macs but I can't seem to affect what's in there. So how do you manage this? And why does it keep putting "untilted folder" in the bottom - I've deleted about 3 each session...Really I've got one Mac that I want to be the master for now - but isn't the point of this so you can quickly add a bookmark and it will show up everywhere. I'm not even trying to deal with iOS yet. (bookmarks there are kindof secondary - since I'm only using an iPod Touch.)

can anyone say what the best option is for a program that syncs bookmarks between multiple browsers. One that maybe shows all the bookmarks in a dropdown from the menu bar and possibly free. I tried Bookit, but it doesn't even support firefox.

I have bookmark folders in toolbar. Up until recently I could "bookmark" and place the bookmark into one of the folders on the toolbar. Now the drop down choice is limited to 5 folders. I now save to unsorted then drag to the desired folder which is on the toolbar.
Is there a way to display all the folders in the drop down window instead of a few that are there now?
Maybe I have too many folders on the toolbar or?

I'm having a problem bookmarking with my new IMac desktop. The bookmark bar shows only a few default bookmarks, like Apple. Yahoo, Wikipedia, and You Tube. When I a press Add Bookmark to add new ones, nothing show. When I hit "show all bookmarks" it gives me my complete history, not just sites I want to bookmark. Proper buttons seem to be selected under Safari preferences.

I select "Add Bookmark" menu item in Safari, select a bookmark folder to add to, then click "Add" button, but no bookmark appears in the selected folder.

Can Safari be configured to display bookmark icons in the bookmark bar? I love having that feature in Firefox. I like having just the icon in my bookmark bar; that way, I can fit in more bookmarks and it's less cluttered.Does anyone know how to display bookmark icons in the bookmark bar in Safari? Can you get different skins for Safari so that I could get that feature?

I have a bookmarked a reputable company for easy access.Log-in icon, easy and secure, no problems.Weeks ago, I entered a wrong password, and a page stating "error" appeared. log-in was successful when reset and again, secure, and safe.
Now this page is still appearing any time I press the log-in button to access the secure logging in page, when I go to bookmark. OK, I removed the whole bookmark from safari, accessed the general web site of the company, and whenever I try to access the log-in page, (not even bookmarked!) I immediately get the same error page!, again and again, without even entering any data or user name or attempted password. This "error" page must have been stored somewhere on my MBA.How can I remove this and start a fresh bookmark?

I moved my mobileme to icloud and everything is syncing well except my macbookair. I tried to go to the mobileme icon in settings and sign out and back in, but that still didn't allow it to sync.

So I have set both my MacBookPro and my iPhone to sync my AddressBook via iCloud. The sync does seem to happen fine when I reboot my iPhone.But it does not seem to happen automatically whenever I change my Address Book on my MacBookPro.and I thought that is the whole point of this feature, isn't it?It seems to work fine when I click the Sync button in iTunes ...

Two related questions:
1.iCloud is in my browser but I'd like to keep my calendar and contacts etc. open all the time outside Safari and on the dock.
2. I have iCloud in my iphone 4 and ipad2 , latest OS,but can't see icon or keep icloud open there?Do I really have to go through Safari everytime I want to see my icloud calendar or contacts?As you know, there's already my calendar and contacts icons from before iCloud.There and accessible but not synced to changes from my laptop.

I have a MacBook Pro and an iPhone 4.I signed up for iCloud using a gmail address. I checked and its the same for both devices.Contacts seems to be syncing with iPhone, but NOT with MacBook?Calendar seems to be syncing with both?

Since migrating over to iCloud, my iCal entries aren't syncing with my iPhone. I'm getting a message saying - The calendar [url].. was not found on the server. Make sure the URL is correct.

I recently switched from a MacBookPro to a MacBook Air and have therefore been switching my iClour from one machine to another. Everything seemed to be working fine with iCloud, but today when I logged onto my work iMac, which alos yns with my iCloud and all my bookmarks are gone. I have checked and they should be synced but they just will not come up. why this would happen and how i can get to synd with my Air, IPhone, etc?

Since a few days, my Mac is constantly syncing (iCloud), I get the sync icon spinning in the menu bar. I am not using iCloud for file sync, I uses Dropbox, so I don't know why it's syncing frequently and for a long time.

I have an iMac and a MacBook Pro. Both are on Lion 10.7.3 and iCloud. Bookmarks are set to sync to iCloud on both computers, but they don't sync automatically. If I add a bookmark on one, it will not appear on the other unless on the second computer I go to System Preferences->iCloud and uncheck and recheck Bookmarks. Everything else seems to sync as expected.

Sometimes works, sometimes not. IS there a way to force sync them? My ipad currently shows 335 contacts, and my Mac Lion, and iphone show 79.
I have a ton of data on the ipad that I want to access from all devices. Wierdly enough, SOMETIME the transfer occurs, sometimes not. This morning I entered a new contact on the iPad, and it instantly appeared on the Mac and iphone. So why don't the other 280 or so do that!?

I thought iCloud would sync all of my devices. For example, when I bookmark something on my iPad, it doesn't show up on my iMac. I have everything checked off in sysystem preferences for all devices under iCloud and still no sync.What to do?

I have a macbook pro, iphone 4, and iMac. Both computers are running Lion and my iphone 4 is up to date.Â
I believe I set up iCloud correctly on all three devices. However, only the iMac and the iPhone seem to be syncing properly. For some reason, mail sent from me.com via my macbook pro doesn't show up in my other devices. Also, iCal entries made on my macbook pro are also not showing up.Â

When I try to sync my computer it just says "Registering Computer" and gives up... it was working fine, syncing my Safari bookmarks, dock items, dashboard, etc..

My reminders app is not syncing across all of my devices. For example when I complete a reminder "Grocery Shopping". I mark it completed on my iPhone however it does not show completed on my Mac nor completed on my iPad Mini. I am signed in to iCloud on all of my devices with the same user name and password.

After years of bad behavior from .Mac and then MobileMe, now iCloud is ALSO not syncing my calenddar events between my computers and my iPhone.Â
The only way I can make my computers sync with each other and my phone is by going to Calendar/Refresh All on the menu bar in Calendar. I thought this was supposed to happen automatically.Â
It sure seems that syncing in iCloud is just as annoying and broken as it was with .Mac and MobileMe.

I have a mac mini, a macbook, iphone and ipad. I upgraded from mobileme to icloud recently. Â
on my mac mini i have 833 contacts, I am syncing with iCloud, but icloud is only showing 750 contacts.Â
I have checked my mac mini for a group that says 'on my mac' and i don't have one, it's not showing in my group list which means that theres no contacts in there.Â
Under the iCloud group on my mac mini, when i click 'All contacts' the missing contacts are in there. (these include my boyfriend and my dad!) yet these contacts are not on icloud.com, my iphone or ipad...Â
I seem to have baffled iCloud support and am still waiting for a resolution
Is there some way they may be in an 'on my mac' account and not showing somehow? but then i dont understand how they'd appear under all contacts in the icloud account.Â

I recently downloaded a local college baseball schedule to iCal on my Macbook. It shows up in my iCal calendar on my Mac. It has not shown up on my iPhone via iCloud. When I sync my iPhone I do not use any syncing buttons because everything is supposed to be synced via iCloud. This new calendar shows up in my Mac iCal but nowhere else (iCloud calendar or iphone calendar). What am I forgetting to do? I've ebven tried syncing with my cable, no difference.

Have just moved from MobileMe to iCloud. iCal is syncing properly across iMac and iPhone, but not Air. Similar problems with Address Book. Express Lane "help" was unhelpful - suggested I phone Apple Care. The warranty on my Air is probably long up. Asked if they would help anyway as I've just upgraded to Lion.
