I would like to be able to create or view a meeting or contact on my Mac(Outlook 2011), iphone, ipad or icloud(any computer) and have it automatically sync with the other devices in this list?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI just returned to the iPhone after 2 years with Android and am trying to sync my calendar and address book via iCal. Supposedly this was made possible by Outlook 11 Service Pack 2, released in April, but I can't make it work. I'm on the current versions of Lion (10.7.3), Microsoft Office (14.2.2) and iPhone (5.1.1). Here's some of what I have tried so far: Rebuilding the Microsoft Office database. Turning sync services off in Outlook by unchecking all the boxes, then turning it back on again. Resetting Sync Services on the mac side from the menu at the top of screen. Going into Library/Preferences and deleting everything related to SyncServer. I also tried creating a new OS X user account then syncing up that account from Outlook to see if there was a problem with my user account and once again could not sync.

I'm having some trouble figuring out how to sync outlook over a iMac and Mac Book Pro without connecting them by a cable each time.Â
Had the Mac Book first and did a migrate to the iMac. Everything is working fine but when I open an email on one it doesn't show that its already been opened on the other.Â
Is there a way to get outlook to update itself, or a program out there that will do this for me.

I've been able to succesfully import all of my email (from a previous version in windows) as well as get the contacts and the calendars imported onto Outlook for Mac, but am at my wits end to get them all talking to each other. Â
Outlook won't sync to the iPhone for mail, contacts and or calendar, nor visa versa. Â
I'm now reading that perhaps mavericks is not compatible with outlook synching services or outlook synching services isn't compatible with mavericks.

my problem is that I have decided to use a workaround to get my Address Book contents into Outlook 2011. I am not concerned with further syncing at this point. I just want to get my addresses into Outlook and hope a better fix is offered at some point. About the only way I could figure out how to do this was to export my Address Book as vCard. I then imported the vCard file into Gmail and then exported that as a CSV file. It contained 550 addresses. I opened it in Excel and it contained 550 rows. Great so far. I then Imported into Outlook 2011 and chose import a text file. When the mapping window opened, it showed over 890 files instead of 550 and the fields were not mapped correctly.

I can't seem to get my iCloud mail account to sync with my Outlook for Mac. It used to be on there but kept giving me error messages saying it couldn't pick up my mail because it couldn't find the server. I took it off now I can't get it back on.

1.iCloud is in my browser but I'd like to keep my calendar and contacts etc. open all the time outside Safari and on the dock.

Since a few days, my Mac is constantly syncing (iCloud), I get the sync icon spinning in the menu bar. I am not using iCloud for file sync, I uses Dropbox, so I don't know why it's syncing frequently and for a long time.

I have an iMac and a MacBook Pro. Both are on Lion 10.7.3 and iCloud. Bookmarks are set to sync to iCloud on both computers, but they don't sync automatically. If I add a bookmark on one, it will not appear on the other unless on the second computer I go to System Preferences->iCloud and uncheck and recheck Bookmarks. Everything else seems to sync as expected.

I have a ton of data on the ipad that I want to access from all devices. Wierdly enough, SOMETIME the transfer occurs, sometimes not. This morning I entered a new contact on the iPad, and it instantly appeared on the Mac and iphone. So why don't the other 280 or so do that!?

After years of bad behavior from .Mac and then MobileMe, now iCloud is ALSO not syncing my calenddar events between my computers and my iPhone.Â
The only way I can make my computers sync with each other and my phone is by going to Calendar/Refresh All on the menu bar in Calendar. I thought this was supposed to happen automatically.Â
It sure seems that syncing in iCloud is just as annoying and broken as it was with .Mac and MobileMe.
