View 1 RepliesI recently downloaded a local college baseball schedule to iCal on my Macbook. It shows up in my iCal calendar on my Mac. It has not shown up on my iPhone via iCloud. When I sync my iPhone I do not use any syncing buttons because everything is supposed to be synced via iCloud. This new calendar shows up in my Mac iCal but nowhere else (iCloud calendar or iphone calendar). What am I forgetting to do? I've ebven tried syncing with my cable, no difference.
Info:iPhone 3GS, iOS 5, Main syncing computer is MacBook
My ical is not syncing with my iPhone 4s. I had mobileme and upgraded to iCloud. I also have Mac Lion and feel like I have all the upgrades required, but any time I enter a new event in my iCal, it never transfers to my iPhone. Note: when I enter an event in my phone, it DOES transfer properly to my iCal on my Mac.
Info:iPhone 4S, Mac OS X (10.7.3)
I am trying to sync my contacts and my ical from my mac to my iphone and my ipad. It gives message that there is not enough storage. Can I really be using 5 gigs to sync only contacts and ical? I only have 198 cards in contacts and the ical is what I would say as average on entries.Â

iPhone 4, iOS 4.3.2
I migrated to iCloud months ago and have been receiving mail on both my Mac and iPhone with no problems until yesterday. I've been on ios 5 and Lion for quite a while and did not update any software in the past few days. Sometime on March 22, mail stopped syncing to BOTH my Mac and iPhone. I also sync gmail to those devices with no problem and I can get my mail through the internet on iCloud.com.
The fact that sync failed on both my devices separately tells me it may be a larger issue? Through Mail on my Mac, I get the following message on the failed sync... The server returned the error: The server "p99-imap.mail.me.com" cannot be contacted on port 993. I've tried deactivating and reactivating, closing and reopening the apps, rebooting and even deleting the mail account on iPhone then reinstalling. Nothing works.

When I open my iCal on my Mac at work, and also on iCloud via the intertnet, I realized it's not synced up to my phone and items are missing. WiFi is on on the iPhone. I can see what I input on desktop/icloud in the phone, but not what's input on the phone in desktop/icloud online. It should all sync up automatically right? Also, how do you put music onto iCloud?
Info:Airport Express, Mac OS X (10.5.8), Macbook
I have iCloud, and it doesn't seem to be doing a thing. My calendars, which used to sync under MobileMe, now don't sync anymore. In fact, they don't even sync through iTunes when I PHYSICALLY PLUG the phone into the Macbook. Calendars are set up to sync. I have selected ALL calendars to sync (even though I wish I could just get rid of the different calendars and have just one. What a pain! Just because I wanted to write in different colors on my calendar depending on the type of event, iCal has to complicate everything and treat these as separate calendars???) The settings on my iPhone are also set to sync all calendars. I've gone into the iCloud settings; everything is on and enabled. The OS on the iPhone is the most current. iTunes is up to date. My OS on my Macbook is the latest (Lion OS 10.7.4).
Info:MacBook, Mac OS X (10.7.4)
I use mail app on my Mac Pro to view my gmail account, now with iCloud how do I sync my mail on my mac pro, iPhone, & iPad so they are all updated as one account. Currently I my mail on my iPhone and iPad update with each, but my mail on my Mac Pro does not. I thought when I updated to Lion I would be able to use iCloud to solve this problem, but it has not.
View 3 Replies View RelatedA friend has an iPhone 5 (iOS 7.1) and a Mac Book Pro (OSX Lion). He wanted the contacts from his Gmail account to appear on his iPhone. This was easy enough - I just added his Gmail account to his iPhone under Mail, Contacts Calendars.Â
The problem - we want all of these contacts to sync with his Mac. Both if the iPhone and Mac have iCloud enabled with the same account. Accounts are set to sync. However, the only contacts appearing on him Mac are the ones that were already there. It's not syncing all accounts from his iPhone.Â
I have 1.76 GB Free on my iPhone 5 but whenever I try to sync, I get a message saying it can't be synced because there is not enough free space to hold all fo the selected items (additional 1.18 GB required). How do I fix this issue so I can sync my phone? I have already update the phone to the latest update, so that's not the issue. Also wanted to note that I backup my stuff to my computer - not the cloud....

Since i've been running the 10A432 build of snow leopard I have noticed that my iPhone will not sync with iTunes. Is this just because iTunes will need updating to bring new kext files??
View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently got Snow Leopard installed, and was able to set up my work email via Exchange 2007 just fine. However, if I enter similar settings on the iPhone it won't go through. Is there a way to set it up so they sync? MobileMe didn't seem to want to do it. On the computer I only had to enter my username (no domain), the password and the server.

the first time I sync after swapping HD's and installing os x will it keep all the current info on my phone or will I get that "this is synced with another library" message and wipe everything?
Data like music, photos, videos ect has already been backed up but I'm concerned with settings, sms ect
How would I go setting this up, so all my appointments from my phone could be synced into iCal? I'm afraid if I just set up calendar syncing, it will import the blank calender from iCal and erase all my appointments I already have on my iPhone.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI purchased a couple TV shows on my iPhone, and they synced to my Mac.
I watched them on my Mac, and deleted them off my iPhone to save space, given their size. I also do NOT have the "sync new TV shows" box checked.
Yet, the shows keep re-syncing and loading onto my iPhone every time I sync. I suspect this has something to do with the fact that I purchased them on my iPhone. But how do I make this stop?
This is a issue that i think iphone users have quite a bit.
I have the 3gs. For some reason whenever i sync to itunes, iphoto doesn't pop up. Problem is that i can't get my photos to sync into iphoto. i have the 10.6.3 software which supposedly fixes this problem but it still won't sync.
my son recently gave me his old macbook i have tried to download my pictures from my iphone to the new macbook and it will not download. Do I need to register the computer to me before it will recognize my phone?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI waited to upgrade to Lion until Apple released a revision to correct all the inevitable bugs. I'm now having the same problem that many of the first users of Lion experienced: my iCal sync is not working between devices. I've gone through all the previous threads but haven't found a common answer. How to get all my calendars talking again? Â

My laptop got stolen a few weeks ago, i've replaced it with a new MBP, and fortunatley I done a full backup at xmas time, so my computer is just like it was on the 23rd of December 2011. However, my iphone has a ton of new photos, music and playlists on it since that date.
Now I want to keep all these tracks, playlists and photos, but i don't no how to go about it.
If i plug it in to the MBP now, won't itunes back sync and delete all the new stuff?
How do i go about keeping the recent stuff on my iphone?
Sync'd my iPhone with iTunes on my mac and lost all imported ringtones. I go to reset the alarm ringtone for example and cannot find any of my imported ringtones. My default imported ringtone for the phone still shows, but if I go to edit it, none of my imported ringtones show up as options. This has happened since the last s/w update for my iPhone (didn't happen before)...
