Somehow, iCloud is receiving e-mail sent to another account, a non iCloud/non-mac.com, and bringing these e-mails into my mac.com inbox. Thus, all of the duplicate e-mails pile up in my Mac account making it difficult to find mail intended for the mac.com account.How is this happening? I've checked the settings in Preferences but nowhere do I see the accounts combined.

now i need to configure 3 accounts with these details and also be able to send out email with same account. It was working before when i had the same settings on my earlier pop server as the outgoing server but now this is not allowing me 2 add the other 2 accounts for outgoing. Says same server name so stays offline.

All of a sudden I am not receiving one of my gmails on my Mac mail account. I have a mobile me account, a cox account, a different gmail account and they all seem to be working.I tried deleting it and adding it again. No luck. I get the emails on my iphone and ipad just not coming in on my desktop for some reason.

I have a problem recieving gmail into my mac mail, it is constantly asking me to verify password which I know is correct. I have tried differnt IMAP settings withing my gmail, but nothing seems to change which my constant trouble to send and receive mail.

As of yesterday 25th May 2012, Apple mail on my mac stopped receiving new mail. I checked my mail around lunchtime (all ok) then when I got home checked again...nothing! I had however had mail delivered during the afternoon to my Blackberry. I have a .mac and .me email address as well as a pop 3. These have all been set up for ages and I've had no problems. My pop 3 and two mac accounts all have worked wonderfully since I went over from Mobile Me to ICloud. I can still send from all three mail addresses from my mac. When I check my mail on iCloud via the web there are new messages in my inbox. I'm still getting these delivered to my Blackberry, as usual. Also my pop 3 account has started asking me for my password which I enter and save in my Keychain it then asks again. The only time this happens is when there is problem with iCloud, according to the Service Status everything is up and running. I have three macs and it's the same on all three.

I have recently upgraded from Mobile Me to iCloud on my Macbook Pro as it was reminding me that MobileMe ends soon. Howveer, I would like to keep Entourage 2008 as my default mail server on my Macbook Pro, but it has switched everything to iCloud.

I bought 3 email only accounts along with the family pack in mobile me (when it was dot mac) long time ago I paid for these for several years, then mobile me came in with Aliases, but my mail only accounts were tied over as legacies, and I continued paying for them in mobile me. They are 3 ----------@mac.com addresses, and are important to keep. What will happen in iCloud? am I going to loose these addresses - which would have a major impact on my "digital lifestyle" I really need to know how to keep them not figure out how to live without them! Then also I have two email addreses/accounts as part of mobile me family pack, wife has two also, Son has one. Does each of these accounts need migrating over to iCloud?What if two of these are the same person on the same Mac(s)Â

I keep getting asked to insert my password for the three accounts I access via mail. I can't get the preferences to save the passwords and can't get the passwords working with the keychain. It seems that keychain isn't accepting passwords since I changed my system from mobile me to icloud. I still have Mac OS X. version 10.6.8. I wish that mobile me was still an option.

Not sure of this is the proper forum. I am having trouble with Mail in Lion. It was working fine until recently. My .me account is not uploading all the time in the Mail application. I don't have any problem obtaining my mail elsewhere (iphone, ipad, PC with Firefox). Just this mail account. It shows the alert triangle with the exclamation point.

I have migrated my Mobileme data to iCloud because my iMac supports Lion. However, my wife's iMac, running Snow Leopard cannot be upgraded (if that's the right word) to Lion so cannot migrate. She currently has a .mac email only ID through Mobileme which is functioning OK but my question is, will she still be able to use it when Apple switches off Mobileme?
