When I try to download music from iTunes or import a cd the error message says a file was specified instead of a folder and won't move into my iTunes.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI connected my iPod nano to my MacBook Air, and opened iTunes to put the music I had just bought onto the iPod. Usually an icon appears on the main screen and on the right hand corner of my music list that says"Add to", so you can click that and drag music to your iPod download list. The screen on the iPod should have said "Do not disconnect charger" but nothing happened. The iPod only charged. This happened once before, and it randomly just started working. This time it won't work.

Is there a way around this. I wish to download a lot of my music from iCloud , like 40gb worth but I don't want to keep the MacBook "awake" does it download when it's sleeping? The same with system and app updates, it seems to stop when it goes to sleep, is there a way around this?Because the download is so big I will have to leave it open and turn the energy setting off so it doesn't go to the auto sleep...

I remember there being a button that said 'download all', which would let you download ALL of your purchased music at the ease of one button. I no longer see this button and instead have to go into each artist name to download the songs for that artist. I have purchased a lot from iTunes, so this can be a long winded task. Is there anyway of being able to download ALL of my music purchases with the click of a button?

I had a fairly extensive music collection and recently i had to get a new hard drive. I didn't think it would be a big deal because i had always updated itunes Match. But iTunes match isn't showing me my library to download my music again.Â

I have the latest version of iTunes, 11.4, and my iCloud music has disappeared from my library. Usually I just stream my cloud songs without downloading them, but the other day when I opened my laptop they were gone. My phone still has all my iCloud songs but my Mac doesn't, also I have "Check for Available Downloads" checked, but it didn't work.Â

I am not using itunes match. able to update and download from mobile devices.
I have one apple ID and one Icloud account per the apple support pages [URL]. I also have match because that is the only way I can get my songs loaded from my cd's on the cloud. My two computer which are up to date with Snow leopard match each other. My IPad and IPhone both have songs that are not on my computers. I only download songs from my ipad and main computer. I consider myself a self proclaim computer geek and am a recording engineer. Any solution to keeping the content from the same account the same.

This has happened twice to me. Each time I've gone from an iPhone to a different OS phone, either ALL my music disappears from my MacBook or (as most recently) a portion has deleted..... And if I try to rebuy the songs, it says I already have them? but they aren't there....I respect iPhones, but I enjoy the phone I have now and don't plan on going back to an iPhone any time soon.Â
