Sep 1, 2014This has happened twice to me. Each time I've gone from an iPhone to a different OS phone, either ALL my music disappears from my MacBook or (as most recently) a portion has deleted..... And if I try to rebuy the songs, it says I already have them? but they aren't there....I respect iPhones, but I enjoy the phone I have now and don't plan on going back to an iPhone any time soon.Â

Apr 3, 2012I can't seem to have my mac linked via icloud to my ios devices. When I buy a song on my ipad, it will imediately show up on my iphone and vice versa. However, nothing shows up on my mac itunes. As well, if I buy a song through itunes on my mac, nothing shows up on either of the ios devices. I have icloud turned on on my mac. I've check and triple checked all the settings and all seem to be correct.

May 30, 2012I've just activated iCloud on my MBA for the first time and pleased to see contacts on my iPhone/iPad have synced nicely. I've activated the music automatic download function within both the iPhone and iPad. I just wondered if that is all I need to do to get a new download of a song or movie etc on the iPhone/iPad to appear on the MBA or is there another setting somewhere in the Mac I need to check?Â
Also with iCloud activated and always signed in on the MBA does this impact on its battery life much? Can't say I noticed any difference on the iPhone or iPad.

Jun 4, 2012I just switched to the cloud email service. Yesterday my mail worked on all 3 of the G5s I use. Today I can only get mail on my iPad 2 and iPhone 4s. It keeps asking for my password on the 3 G5 computers.I tried deleting and resigning in to icloud and I tried to change the email from mac mail to imac mail but it is still not working.

Jun 6, 2012I use mail app on my Mac Pro to view my gmail account, now with iCloud how do I sync my mail on my mac pro, iPhone, & iPad so they are all updated as one account. Currently I my mail on my iPhone and iPad update with each, but my mail on my Mac Pro does not. I thought when I updated to Lion I would be able to use iCloud to solve this problem, but it has not.

Mar 13, 2012I've been syncing my devices for years, but after I updated to iTunes 10.6 then attempted to sync my iPhone 4, iTunes aborts and does not complete the sync. I tried my iPad as well with exactly the same results. So, I expect that something has begun corrupted in iTunes and I tried to revert to the previous version of iTunes with Time machine, but the Mac reported that I cannot remove iTunes.It could be a library that is corrupt or a cache of some sort, but I can't tell.Â

May 30, 2012I download apps DIRECTLY to my iPhone and iPad 2 I do not download via iTunes.
When I plug in my iPad or phone (device from now on) and sync it in iTunes, it transfers and backups MY purchases fine. However the left window pane does not show the INSTALLED apps.
Theres only a list of apps, none with check marks , even if they are present on the phone or iPad. If select sync apps, it tells me it will DELETE all the apps on my device.Â
Am I doing something wrong, or is there a way to make iTunes place a check mark or recognize what IS ALREADY on my device with out having to start from scratch and delete all my apps by forcing me To manually select what apps I want installed on my device (which are already on my device!) Â Am I missing a step someplace? Shouldn't my library on my device show up on the left side of ITunes pane with apps INSTALLED already checked?Â
