I have a Imac and a Macair. All on latest software and Itunes version. I am trying to move to Icloud from mobile me.I get to the screen where I could asks for my apple id. I enter it and it gives me an error message to use my apple id - I have double checked I have the right one.

I have a unique problem with the transfer to I-cloud. I am no longer able to get my me.com messages because my password is unacceptable. However when I sign into my account through mobile me it work just fine.

View 3 Replies View RelatedWent to "Manage Apple ID" and changed e-mail and password last night. Received confirming e-mails and sent back verification. Today when I started up my Mac and iPhone, got messages telling me I'm not connected to iCloud, messaging is "offline", in short, neither the new or old e-mails or passwords are being recognized. Yet, "Manage Apple ID" will let me logon with new info.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just bought a new macbook pro and used my time machine disk. All went fine until a message appeared that a device was incorrectly ejected. I clicked the message away and the transfer seemed to continue althpugh it suddenly needed twice the time as before the message. At a certain stage it asked for my apple password (as used o my old machine which i was tranferring to the new one) but Now it doesnt accept my apple password anymore so i am stuck!! I am sure the password is correct. This thing is extra cruel as i had to buy the new one abroad after i was robbed at the airport. Luckily i always travel with my harddisk with backups from time machine but despit this i cant use my new macbook pro because of the above trouble.

When I startup my computer I am prompted with the 'there isn't a keyboard connected' message. I'm using an apple wired USB keyboard, it was working perfectly fine yesterday and it appears to still be operational as I can charge my iPhone from it.Â
I've tried restarting, using different ports, removing other USB devices, but haven't had any luck. I can only access my guest account as my main is password protected.Â

I have been trying to download Cloud 1.I put my Apple ID and Password in.It didn't take.I changed my password and it still didn't take.Also, when I tried to download mobile me, it wanted my 'member name and ID'.Is that separate? So I've concluded that the reason my wireless keyboard is not registering the correct keystrokes on my Macbook Pro is due to the fact that Snow Leopard sees it as the OLD white wireless keyboard instead of the new aluminum one. Is there any way to ensure that it sees the keyboard as the aluminum one rather than the white one every time I hook it up?
My main concern is that the function keys don't do the correct thing. I've tried remapping them (but can't control the volume ones) and have tried using the checkbox that requires a push of the fn key. Trouble is, since the white wireless keyboards don't have an fn key, it won't recognize it as such on my aluminum.

Now, on my iphone, ipad and mac i can login to " find my iphone" and " icloud" photostream, but on my macbook it just says " this is not your primary account".

When I first set icloud up it wouldn't recognise my apple id but I made a new apple id and then managed somehow to get my apple ID for itunes store and icloud to be the same. However, I have just updated my iphone operating system and when it asked me in the initial setting up process for my Apple ID which is an email address it wouldn't recognise it again! Grrr! So the only way to get into my phone was to create another Apple ID for icloud on Iphone. Â

I started my Apple ID with a gmail account years ago. When iCloud came out I made a new me.com email address under my original Apple ID. It won't let me switch it in iTunes. It says their two different Apple ID's. So I can change my email address in any other services except Apple's. I'm stuck using my gmail until I can switch that.
