Aug 30, 2009I have Guitar Pro 5.3b1 on my system, which is claimed to be snow kitty friendly. However, every time I open the application, it immediately crashes. Any ideas? I can't really think of any alternatives either, other than finale, and that's just overkill.

Dec 19, 2008I have Mac OS 10.4.11, and Safari 3.2.1. Safari crashes if I try to Cmd-click a link to get it to open in a new tab or right-click a bookmark and choose to open it in a new tab or a new window. It did not do that before I got the Safari update. I also cannot seem to get any content into more than 3 tabs without it crashing. Is there any way to fix it?

Jun 8, 2010I just installed Safari 4.1 for Tiger, and it crashes every time I try to open it. I tried removing the input manager software that I had added, but that did not help. Is Smart Crash Reports a normal part of Safari, or should I remove that as well? Is there any way to reinstall Safari 4.0.5? Would deleting Safari from the Applications directory make it possible to reinstall 4.0.5?

Sep 28, 2010Every half hour I keep getting this popup: I've deleted my cache, cookies, browser history and rss articles. There are no twitter/rss bookmarks anywhere. I could deselect the option in Preferences to auto update any rss feeds of the bookmarks bar, but rather leave this default. Why is Safari insisting there is a twitter rss feed and wants to update it when I cleared everything? There seems to be some mention of twitter rss somewhere in Safari. I'v also tried to delete the Database3 file. Safari made a new one, but the twitter rss popup still appears. I'm using a Mac osx 10.4.1 dual Core Intel Xeon. Can I totally clear any rss subscriptions/feeds somehow (even though I never subscribed to any twitter rss feed).

Feb 21, 2012At least once every day a box pops up that says Safari can't verify the identity of Facebook.com or Twitter.com. I click OK or adjust it so say "Always Trust" and then Facebook.com goes blank. The blank page will say access denied, page cannot be found, etc. etc.
All the fixes I've found online seem to be Windows-based and suggest making sure the clock/time is accurate. Mine has always been up to date so that's not an option for me. I've also disabled pop-ups as per a suggestion and that didn't do anything. So if there's any Mac users with knowledge of security certificates, it'd be a huge help.

Jun 7, 2012Each time I launch Safari, iTunes launches. A clue: iTunes immediately goes to the store and brings up an app called SendStuffNow. This is a real pain. At one point I had downloaded the (free) app, but decided I didn't want it and deleted it.

May 16, 2012iTunes 10.6.1 crashes on my iMac (10.7.3, 4 GB) whenever I try to open, play or interact in any way with Audible books. This is new in the last 2-3 weeks. Â
I have tried (Command) O, drag n drop, double click on file and "add to library". Every time it crashes. I have sent reports to Apple. I can add the files to iTunes Library, but they never open in iTunes without crashing it.Â
Everything in my Audible account looks appropriate so I don't think it's that end?Â
Anyone with similar issues? Or, better, a solution? I am going to try backing up and re-downloading the app, I think.Â

Sep 10, 2009After upgrading from OS X 10.5.8 to 10.6(and 10.6.1) my control panel Security does not open but crashes. With the upgrade to 10.6.1 the control panel now says "loading Security (32 bit" but will not open the Security control panel. All other control panels icons work on my duel 2.93 Mac Pro.
