I would like to export the audio from a quicktime movie. i have QT 7 Pro. I want to listen to the audio from the movie in my car, on a CD. I tried it a few different ways, as AIFF, another, and it saves a large file but doesn't sound when I play it. No sound. Is there a way to save it so it's audible? These are AVI files.
I export multiple .mov files with certain video stream and mpeg layer 2 audio stream inside, using MPEG Streamclip/VLC/FFMpegX. However it turns out that the sound part is not playbak correctly inside QT player. Is QT player not supposed to playback this kind of file? BTW, I'm on OSX 10.7.3, Quicktime player is version 10.1.Â
Info: MacBook Pro (17-inch Late 2011), Mac OS X (10.7.3)
I have a 17" MBP. The last model with the silver keys. I seem to have picked up an annoying sound effect that plays itself at random. Actually its two. A door opening, then a door closing. I have deleted my browser history & cookies but its still there. Where can this little bugger be found and how do I banish it forever?
I have had this problem quite a while now:When I open an .avi file it automatically opens using QuickTime. I'd like that because it's the best player for Apple. The problem is however that I can only hear the sound, there's no image/video.I use 10.7.2. (now updating to 10.7.3), but it already did this before I had OSX Lion installed. If I search for new updates it doesn't come up with an update for QuickTime.Any other player works (although VLC's the only one I tried so far).
Just noticed this by accident. By default one type opens with iTunes and the other with Quicktime. Can anyone explain what the difference is between file types and why this occurs in the first place?
I have a concert I recorded and I would like to extract the audio from either the MPEG-2 file or the DIVX file. Is there any program that will extract either the AC3 or MP3 audio? If it is the AC3, what else do I need to use to convert it to MP3 or AAC or WAV?
It seems to me that Quicktime is losing out, big time, versus Flash for video streaming. Even the venerable BBC is proposing to use Flash for all its services for internet TV and most streamed audio is on Real Player.
So what do you all think Apple needs to do to get Quicktime back in the mainstream as a leading platform for DRM (of necessity) protected TV & Video?
How can use new QuickTime Record Audio in my mac for recording all sound of in my mac? like record iTunes Radio or any application sound etc... is it any codec? or method ? or any component?
a few avi videos seem to play back out of sync in quicktime and i don't know why. When i play them in VLC they are much better but still very slightly out. I am running an core 2 duo imac.
I tried playing a video through Quicktime but there was no audio and the program said it needed a codec. Quicktime suggested that I download another progran (DivX player). I downloaded DivX but then the video still does not have any audio output. What will I do?
i have been making backup QT movies of a whole bunch of Beta SP tapes using an AJA Ki Pro to record ProRes 422 files. I have used QT7pro to trim these movies and add metadata. Played back on QT7 (7.6.6) they sound find but playing the same movie on QT player 10.1 there is an echo on the audio as if one track has been knocked back about 6 or 7 frames. Using QT7 to set Ch1 and 2 to mono or stereo makes no difference, just spaces the echo out.Â
Since upgrading to os lion, quicktime movies won't play audio with the video anymore. I'll hit play and the audio will sound out for a fraction of a second while the video continues to play. I never had this problem with snow leopard. Â
Recently I noticed that ALL of the audio from an entire folder of .mov files has disappeared. Video playback is fine. I tried to export from Quicktime to experiemtn but it suggests that the file is corrupt and can't be exported...but all of them? Files are being kept on external drive. Could Lion be causing this somehow?
i installed mobistealth in a mobile. the mobistealth is working very good ( the calls history, messages, GPS, photos history and call recording) BUT the call recordings have some problems. i tried to solve but i could not. some of the calls can open with quicktime but most of them i could not because they said they are codec. i tried to download codec programs but useless. i tried to install many programs other than quicktime also useless. i reomve quicktime 7 and reinstall quicktime6.3. i called realplayer team. they said i need to codec program.i do not understand how to solve this problem. if you need i can attach .3gp file.
Info: quicktime player , Windows XP, program mobistealth
I'd like to disable the 'stop recording' button on the menu bar during screen capture on 10.6.I know that Quicktime X doesn't have the option of changing preferences and I've seen some codes out there that will alter certain preferences, but not this one.
So with Quicktime X, it gives me the options to Record using my Macs Camera, i can record my screen, and i can record audio. but how do i record the screen and the screens audio. like if i am going to record a video on the screen, and want the audio of that video to be recorded, then how do i do that?
I'm going to miss the Canada-Russia Olympic Hockey game tomorrow, and I was hoping to find some way of recording the streaming video onto my computer to watch when i got home. I've managed to get the "Screen Recording" function working properly (how cool is that??) but it doesn't seem to be picking up any audio. Is there any way to do that? I tried running a simultaneous audio recording, but it doesn't recognize the audio coming in with the video as an audio feed. I'm using Quicktime X on a Dec. 2007 macbook running Snow Leopard. Is there a better way to record ths game from the site streaming the video?
I'm currently having is with the Quicktime 7.7.1 plugin for Firefox. I use Firefox 12, running on OS Lion, and this plugin has some sound issue with a particular site I like to visit. When playing audio midis, it sounds tinny and plunky / compressed.I did not have this problem before Lion, but the plugin does work fine on other sites. I tried to delete the Quicktime app. thinking it somehow became corrupted, but I may be wrong. I had my data transferred from my old mac to the new one I have now. I don't know if that could have affected the QT plugin somehow or what.
I am using QuickTime to record audios of myself talking in a quiet room, using the built-in microphone, but I just found that the audio quality is poor, even less than the voice memos I recorded on my iPod touch 4 (I said the same thing in the same room). Although I can hear my every words, I think it is near the sound quality of talking on telephone; the voice is not clear and pure.
I have the model of early 2011 MacBook Pro, with the newest OS X Mountain Lion.
