View 1 RepliesI am desperate to find the correct driver for the p205b docuprint printer I know that the one on the fuji site is wrong and you need to install a driver for another model as I found this in a forum last year and successfully installed on another mac but now I don't know where I got the info from.
Info: iMac
Whenever I try to install the 360 driver for mac from (URL) it says it installs the kexts improperly.

I've bought several controllers from game stop and none of them seem to work on my iMac, I have a couple first person shooters including duke nuke em' but I'm hesitant towards buying more because of the controller issue, the Xbox 360 controller doesn't work either what is the best option?

I have a xerox phaser 6110 wire connected to my router. My imac is also wire connected to my router. I have installed the latest printer driver on my imac but when trying to print it does not respond. I suspect it's something to do with telling the mac where to look for the printer but my mac skills are very low.

I have 2 Xerox 7345 copier/printers in our office and none of the macs will print to them. Xerox claioms they are compatible and I have downloaded the drivers they supply. When I go to print, the mac looks like it is printing, but nothing prints out. Other printers work fine from the same macs. The mac on my desk is a power PC G4 running OS X 10.4.11.
View 3 Replies View RelatedAfter a re-install. my duplex option is greyed out now.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy office just received a xerox Workcentre 7345 and our iMac's can't print from Adobe CS3. They can print from every other program, just not Adobe. The computer I use is a PowerPC G5 and I don't have any issues with it. All of the Mac's are setup the same, have the same operating system and we are on a shared network. We also use the Accounting Feature where you enter a code into the print dialogue box. I am perplexed. I called Xerox tech support and they have no idea what it could be either.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI thought I'd upgrade from 10.4.11 to 10.5.8, Leopard. All went well except now I can't load the print driver correctly to use all the printer facilities. Yes, I went to the Xerox site, downloaded the drivers then through System Preferences looked for the printer to add. Can't see anything that looks like a Xerox, nothing in Appletalk. Go to more printers and it gives me the option of HP IP Printing, two Epsons and a Canon under auto. So I look at Manual. I did get it to work manually by typing in the IP address, but that doesn't allow me to use any of the features of the printer, just the basic print. I did note that there is something under Windows in the System Preferences, but I'm loathe to fiddle with this until I know what I'm doing. I'm at my wits end. Otherwise it's back to Tiger on my backup which will cause other issues. G4 PowerPC, 1.5Ghz: 2GB DDR SDRAM
View 1 Replies View RelatedWe have a Xerox WorkCentre M118 which used to print perfectly ok until we upgraded to Mac OS10.6 and now cannot see the printer on the network or print to it. Xerox do not support this printer for 10.6.

I've tried everything, and cannot get my 7400 Xerox Phaser to print any Adobe document. I'm using CS5. I've downloaded drivers, driver updates, driver patches. I've reinstalled the Adobe programs. I do get a "communications error" on some other programs, but they still print. I used to get this message with the Adobe programs, but they were still printing until yesterday. Xerox says it's a "Mac thing." Adobe's site is absolutely with no support?

I should have posted in this forum first as its printer related. But does anyone know how to get the above printer scanner working with snow leopard?

View 14 Replies View RelatedOk so I have quite an updated G3 BW/400:
2 x 80gb HD's
Radeon 7000 64mb GPU
1 gb RAM
DVD-ROM
Big TV to watch downloads on.
I am still not absolutely satisfied with the playback and have read that a final bottleneck is the PCI bus (66mHz) and that I can upgrade this to 133mHz.
I am interested in doing this but I want to understand it a bit better. Is the bottleneck the data transferred from the Hard drive or the motherboard to the GPU?
Also, I am looking for suggestions on what to buy. 100mHz or 133mHz or what?
dmx lighting control using a Mac? I'm interested in software, and of course some sort of interface (USB?) that will produce DMX signals. A search on the web reveals several 'older' Mac programs -
View 9 Replies View RelatedHeres the problem. My flat mate has two Playstation 2 controller's and a USB adapter so we can plug them into our laptops. Trouble is, the adapter allows both controllers to be plugged into just one USB port.
For some reason, my Mac only sees one controller, not them both as separate controllers. The software my flat mate got with the adapter is Windows only, so I'm kinda stumped to get them both working on my Mac.
Has anyone found a work around to get this working? I'm missing out on playing multiplayers on my N64 emulator!
Im looking for a controller card for the mac in my signature there are a load of them on ebay/maplin etc - but none of them say mac compatible, will this be a problem or can i use them anyway?
Bit of advice as i have 2 120 gb hdds to put in the mac (+ The 60gb stock)
I have installed 2 extra hdd's in my 2008 mac pro using the 2 extra sata ports. I was wondering if it would be possible to install a sata controller in the mac pro to increase my sata ports so I can add 2 more sata drives instead of the remaining optical drive. And if I can where would it go.

I was given a mac book that wouldn't show anything on screen, apple said it had bad logic board. I fixed that by torching the gpu die, and everything is perfect. Except the computer will not charge that battery, says battery 0% "not charging". I tried all the usual, so does anyone know exactly were the smc controller is on the motherboard? I have some ideas And all the cables from the mag safe connecter to the battery, appear good.

View 1 Replies View RelatedThe DVD player controller is trapped off screen. If I "open control door" from the menu i can see it just poking out but can't move it.
That's a screenshot of the bottom left corner of the screen with the control door open, with it closed you cannot see it at all.
No one else seems to have had this problem from my searching but is there a way to reset the position or something?
I have a USB controller and it only works sometimes. Yesterday it was working perfectly, no problems. Today I try and my mac just isn't detecting it. I've tried all the USB ports and nothing changes.
View 3 Replies View RelatedIt takes PCI cards, but does that mean it takes any PCI card, even if a potential PCI expansion card does not specify what kind of computer it can connect to? It is a VIA PCI expansion card.
View 1 Replies View Related I'm a long-time Mac owner (this is my 4th) but new to Mac forums. I'm making the transition from playing action type games on a console system to playing games on my Mac (Madden, Call of Duty, etc). It sucks playing them without some kind of controller and I am looking hard at what's out there.
I have a MacBook Pro, 17", 2.66GHz Intel Core i7 processor, and 8 GB 1067MHz DDR3 memory.
So what are the best controllers that are currently available? Or would I be better served to wait a couple of months for something due out any time? I don't want to wait forever and I know that there will always be something better coming out, but if there is something revolutionary coming soon, I'd wait.
I'm looking to get into a bit of Mac gaming with Steam, CounterStrke & TF2 mainly - but i'm not that hot with a keyboard!
I've got a couple questions if you wouldn't mind helping me!
1) Are there any gamepads or controllers that'll work with the games mentioned?
2) Which is the best Mac compatible mouse for gaming?
