May 11, 2010I really need help with this; I've searched "iphoto won't open" and many other variations of that, but I haven't found anything the same as my situation. When I click the iPhoto icon on the dock, it bounces once... and then stops, without opening or doing anything else. It does the same if I open it through finder->applications. It's driving me crazy!! I have a MacBook with Tiger OS X 10.4.11, iPhoto 7.1.5 and NO tech experience.

Final Cut Pro X :: Application Not Responding After Trying To Open Event
Aug 31, 2014I just updated to Final Cut 10.1.3
I was working on a project in final cut and my computer crashed. When I restarted my computer and Final Cut, it seemed ok. It opens on the project I was working on before the one I was working on when it crashed. When I go to scroll up in the event, towards where the most recent projects are, eventually I get the spinning rainbow of death and then final cut stops responding. I have forced quit and restarted it but the same thing keeps happening. When I open other earlier projects in the same event, they seem to open and work fine.
I tried 'Update Projects and Events' but when I click 'update all' it says that it can't find anything to update.Â

Jun 21, 2012My iPhoto has always worked fine. Now I can't get it to open. Light under it in the dock is illuminated but the app won't open or close. Tried to restart computer but message indicated I had to close iPhoto first. I tried closing everything else and shutting power off, then turning back on. Illuminated iPhoto app on dock remains and I still can't open or close. Is this a common problem? I've never had this happen. I have over 5,000 photos

I've tried all kind of solutions from the web but still no solution. I wonder if someone would have the missing file (Library not loaded: /System/Library/Frameworks/CoreText.framework/Versions/A/CoreText) and could send it to me? Jun 18, 2012during the system has been actualizing and power down i have close my macbook pro.Since these action the mac mail program and ical don't open. When i click on the icons they are jumping but dont open. system preferences is opening but the subfolders like network, dock, cds&DVDs and so on dosn't open. in the status bar there is shown for example loading network but nothing is going on.

Applications :: Immediately Open Edit Window In ICal Upon Creation Of New Event?
Apr 20, 2010One thing that annoys me about iCal is that when I hit the shortcut to create a new event, I have to hit another shortcut to bring up the edit window. Ideally the edit window would pop up immediately upon creation of a new event, but I can't find a way to make this happen.
Does anyone know a work-around for this?
Another annoying thing is that I can't just hit Cmd-N to open a new event; I have to make sure I'm in a calendar that can be edited before creating a new event. I don't think there's a fix for this; I think it's just one of those things.
I searched for info about this, but I didn't find anything.

So, my question is, where did those pictures go? I'm hoping that they are stored in some folder somewhere (which I have been unable to find) and that they are NOT just part of the monstrous "iPhoto Library" file in the Photos folder where I can't actually get at them.

When I select all, then export so that I can read them on a pc or at a photo store, All of the pics are stuck in one directory. The album names are lost. I normally back up all of my year's photos to dvds, but to use them, iPhoto will be required in the future. I became concerned that if iPhoto isn't prevalent in 25 years when my grandchildren look at the photos, what will they do? So, what's the best way to keep my naming structure in place so that I can export to JPG's?

I have a large collection of photos in the iPhoto program in My Account and I would like the Kids account to be able to see the photos.
