At the moment my oldest emails come into my inbox first. I would like my newest emails to appear first instead of having to go through the pages of old emails to reach the new ones?

I'm trying to correct a problem with my wife's iCloud email account. I cannot change the 'Incoming Mail Server' name in the 'Account Information panel. If I delete the account and start a new one, I can enter the correct name ... "imap.mail.me.com". However, once I click on create, the Incoming Mail Server name reverts to 'mail.example.com.

I don't see a preference option for setting the message body to a font for incoming mail. All of the mail I receive has a font that is too small to read so I would like to increase the font size.

My MacBook's default fonts for viewing content in the Malayalam script/language seem to be Malayalam MN and Malayalam Sangam MN -- not surprisingly, since those are the default Malayalam fonts that come with the OS. However, both of those fonts are missing a lot of conjuncts/ligatures. There are some free fonts that do have the missing characters, so I'd like to put them at the top of whatever preference list the OS is using to decide which fonts to choose.

Recently upgraded to Yosemite. Multiple times a day, I get the 'ding' that tells me that I have email, and see the little notification appear in the upper right corner of my screen. Then when I go to Mail to check the email... nothing. Not in Junk, Trash, Inbox, or anywhere. A few times I have managed to see who the email was from, and did a search, and it turned up nothing. the messages are not visible in my phone, on iCloud, or on my laptop. I am worried that important messages are disappearing before I can read them. I've rebuilt my mailbox to no avail. If I didn't hear the ding and see the notification appear, I would never even know I was receiving mail. Its not all messages, most get through, but it seems to be happening more and more, I have over 12 gb of storage on iCloud, so that isn't the issue.

I am using Apple Mail with three Pop3 accounts and I am receiving duplicate emails in one of the three accounts. Each account has a separate email. The account that I am receiving duplicate emails was set up last night. I am leaving the emails on the server, if that has any bearing. I am running OS 10.6.2.
View 4 Replies View RelatedJust recently I have noticed that the number of emails that the count says is higher than I actually receive. For example it will say "1 of 21" but then I will only have 15 to read.
I have tried looking at the settings etc and even counting the Apple message section it still does not equate to the number it say are "incoming".

Upgraded hosting plans and have to change my mail server address. I can change my SMTP server but Mail won't allow me to change the incoming mail server. It's greyed out. If I try to delete the account, it says the account is shared with other programs and must be removed in Internet Accounts control panel but it's not listed there to be removed or changed.
View 2 Replies View RelatedEverytime I open mail (v.5.2) on my Mac (OSX 10.7.3) I am prompted that the "iCloud has rejected the password for p01-imap.mail.me.com." The incoming mail server is set at p01-imap.mail.me.com....and I can't change it, it's greyed out in Preferences - Account Information. Further, each time I put in the password, I click "remember in my keychain" and, well, it doesn't because I have to re-enter it every day.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am a recent Mac switcher and am using Pages as my word processing software. After being a long-time Microsoft Word user, I have grown accustomed to the default font of Times New Roman, and I would prefer to continue using that for Pages as well. I know that it is as simple as changing the font, but I was wondering if there was a way to change the default font in Pages to Times New Roman just to save the hassle.
View 2 Replies View RelatedRecently replaced my internal hard drive and had to re-download and update everything... Forgot which version of Safari I had before with my OS X 10.4.11, so I got Safari v4.1.3... It works great, but I know the bold fonts were never THIS bold. Here is what I'm currently looking at:
I tried selecting "Never use font sizes smaller than 9", and I even tried "Empty Cache" as well as "Reset Safari...", but it's still ridiculously bold.
