I have put the wrong driver on my IMac running OSX 10.7.3 and need to go to an older driver. I've tried to find out where the drivers are but no sucess. There is a driver for XBox 360 game controllers that I loaded and it appears in System Preferences but controller hardware is not recognized by the driver even though the System profiler see's the XBox 360 controller listed under USB devices. I'm trying to remove the current driver and load an older driver which some people say works. I can't find any system file with the name XBox 360 in it on my computer but when I try to install an older version of the driver it doesn't allow me because it says I have a newer version on my drive. So in general, how do you remove non functioning drivers?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm having some trouble adding network printers in Tiger. If I open the print&fax window and then click on the "+" sign to add printers, nothing comes up. I thought a new screen was supposed to pop up, but nothing happens. If I try to print something from Word or Excel and select "add printer" in the print menu, also nothing happens. I do find a list of "bonjour printers", but I'm not sure how this can help me. So in the end it seems I can't add any printers at all, and thus not print.

I renamed one of my computers at home. Now both instances of it show up in the Shared section of the finder sidebar and I can't remove the old one. When I do a Get Info, it shows as a PC Server, but I can't actually access anything on it. Is there any way to keep this from showing up?
In my house, there are several available WiFi networks, including my airport. I tried joining one of the others once when mine was down, and now my computer regularly attempts to join that one when ever it wakes up. Can I make it forget to join that network, or make mine its first preference?

Getting errors when trying to update to 5.1 on iPhone 4s and iPad 1. Iv tried to update through the device and on iTunes and its not working. Both devices are NOT jailbroken. iTunes saying network connection can not be established. And trying through iPad's software update on the device says " Unable to check for update. I've had the issue with multiple USB devices - same story with each one. Further, iTunes will only recognize my iPhone if it is in the port nearest the magsafe connector. The other port fails to recognize my iPhone entirely. Anyone else having a USB issue on their base 15" that was released today?

I have an App that I would like to keep in my iTunes library, but only Sync to my iPad -- not my iPhone.
