MacBook Air :: How To Remove Bookmark In Safari And Start Fresh Bookmark
Jun 22, 2014I have a bookmarked a reputable company for easy access.Log-in icon, easy and secure, no problems.Weeks ago, I entered a wrong password, and a page stating "error" appeared. log-in was successful when reset and again, secure, and safe.
Now this page is still appearing any time I press the log-in button to access the secure logging in page, when I go to bookmark. OK, I removed the whole bookmark from safari, accessed the general web site of the company, and whenever I try to access the log-in page, (not even bookmarked!) I immediately get the same error page!, again and again, without even entering any data or user name or attempted password. This "error" page must have been stored somewhere on my MBA.How can I remove this and start a fresh bookmark?

Mar 12, 2012I opened safari and all of my tabs/reading list were thrown way outta wack.The reading list is "empty" but has hundreds of greyed out stuff behing the glasses and explanation. Everytime i add something to the list it adds the item multiple times, 1 at first then 2 for the next item ad infinitum.My once polished tabs bar has been riddled with old stuff that I never put there.

Mar 26, 2012I have been using the 'Reading List' as a default Bookmark list as I find it more accessible than the old Bookmark system in Safari. After recently updating Safari my reading list has developed a bug. Firstly my entire list had disappeared (most annoying and inconvenient as I began rely on the list for my continuing study of important references in relation to my business) but I strangely I do get a multiple entry of my last used item. In fact the last time I opened up the list I had about ten duplications of the same bookmark. A recent example is below. My other references (which incidentally, courtesy of iCloud appear on my iPhone bookmarks) have disappeared.

Dec 16, 2008I'm trying to find ways to get rid of the Windows XP operating system as a means of sharing some data on the network and thought I'd try and experiment in Linux.
I installed OpenSuSE v11.0 and gave it the name, "mediasrv" as the NetBIOS name. Well, the experiment didn't succeed and I rebooted Windows off of the old drive and everything is just fine with the exception that the "mediasrv" NetBIOS name and the Windows XP NetBIOS name BOTH show up in the finder.
Yeah, I know it doesn't hurt anything it just drives me crazy. So, how do I remove the "mediasrv" name from showing up in the finder?

As a result of trying to find a way into iCloud to amend things I started a process that threatened to erase all my Address Book and Calendar data and couldn't easily stop it - kept going round in circles! Mar 27, 2012So i've had my Macbook air 13" since december, i've had some problems with the trackpad so apple repaired it a few days ago. They've returned it once and they hadent reconnected the keyboard so i had to wait for them to fix it again. I've now noticed that when i power my macbook air up, or wake it from sleep theres a kind of zip noise that comes from the top left hand corner of the keyboard? Almost like scratching one of those reflective plastic pictures that changes the picture depending which way you look at it from. Is this noise normal? I've haden't noticed it before. i took it in again and apple said they 'Could not replicate' the problem.
