OS X V10.7 Lion :: Software Update Not Updating?
Feb 5, 2012When I run software update, it tells me my software is up to date. But I know for a fact it is not. I have Lion 10.7.2, and I know that 10.7.3 was released. Why won't my software update pick this up? Could it be because my internet connection is too slow and it could be timing out? I am overseas, so the wifi connection is pretty slow, just thought that may be it, but not sure.

OS X :: Unable To Updating Latest Security Update 2009-001 And Java 10.5 Update 3?
Feb 14, 2009I have problems since applying the latest security Update 2009-001 and Java 10.5 Update 3, I have 10.5.6 on the new unibody 2.4ghz and have completely lost the ability to connect to my wireless access point which is an apple airport extreme base station.
I can sometimes se the base station but cannot connect to it and sometimes cannot see it at all. I have three other apple computers at home all less then a year old running the same build of 10.5.6 but have not updated them and they all are fine.
This one was perfect untill I applied the update.
The machine I am having problems with is partitioned with windows 7 beta on it which has no problems connecting to the base station, which indicates that its not a hardware problem but more then likely the update which is causing the problem.
Is there a way to uninstall the last update or delete it? Any one with a similar problem or know how I can fix it, I have googled but cannot seem to find anyone with similar problems.

Dec 1, 2014I have a late 2009 MacPro 27". I just updated to Yosemite and found out that my current version of Aperture (3.4.3) will not work with with OX 10. When I go to the app store to update Aperture, i get a message stating: "Update unavailable with this Apple ID."
I never changed my Apple ID and don't understand why I am getting this message.

Feb 24, 2009I am having trouble updating my iTunes 8.0.1 to 8.0.2.When I open my iTunes, it alerts me that there is a new version and if I wish to download. When I click yes, it automatically opens up my Software Update software, but it will not list the iTunes update that originally opened the Software Update. The only thing it lists is the Safari update which I never download since I don't use Safari.

May 30, 2012After Updating to 10.7.4 my mbp 2011 is experiencing many problems with the pre installed applications. Itunes, and App store, safari and even Software update all crash within seconds of been launched. .There is more, but decided not to post it unless its neccesary. Things I have tried already:
- Installed the combo update 10.7.4
- Verified disks: They are all good
- Installed a fresh update of itunes
- Checked for Flashback virus, and even installed java 2012 - 003.

Jun 12, 2012This morning I attempted to update my software which I later found out was a mistake. When I tried to restart my compter I got an error message. After a little research I found out that not only are several other people experiencing this problem but that it most likely had something to do with the thunderbolt update that became available a few days ago. So I guess my computer is in what I think is called a "kernal panic". Although I don't really know what that means. Anyway, I have read several things which include reinstalling Lion by pressing command R and combo updating your computer with another mac. Honestly though this type of thing has never happened to me and I really don't know if its safe to do on my own.
