I have several email accounts with different SMTP settings. So I may want to use the account from time to time but I don't need to be checking mail and downloading all the accounts. How can I set up a mail group to check mail from several accounts - but exclude one of the accounts (its duplicated you see). I am using outlook 2010.

View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen I give presentations, I like to bring my own MacBook Pro so I can get right on it with all my preconfiguration. However I am staggered by the hassle of getting the dual display setting right. Usually when I plug the MacBook Pro into the projector it will give me an unpredictable display setting, and I will usually have to spend some five minutes to configure it correctly before I can launch into the presentation.
In situations when I am only allotted something like ten minutes this eats up my precious time in a big way. A valid solution is to rehearse with the projector and refrain from plugging anything into the computer between then and the presentation, but often times I have no control over what projector I will be using until the last minute.
My question is, then, is there any way I can preconfigure the display setting (two independent displays, with the desktop set to my monitor's native resolution, the VGA to 1024*768, with the laptop monitor being the primary display) that I can plug in the projector and begin immediately?

I inherited a LaserWriter Select and have tried in vain to set it up (I also inherited the Asant talk used to connect it to my wireless router). It worked fine with the Leopard set-up of the previous owner, but it won't do thing for me under Snow Leopard. Is there an incompatibility here, or does the printer just not like me?

I vastly preferred the Leopard version of selection in that only the filename was used to select a row.
If you clicked anywhere else it would not select the row and you could easily right-click to add new folders etc.
Snow Leopard did away with this functionality and changed it to a full row select.
Is there any way to go back to the Leopard way of doing things?

My apple ID thinks that I'm in America (it keeps asking for zip codes etc) - I'm actually in the UK with a UK address and card. I've tried changing the country of primary address to UK within the 'update your address' section and it is still thinks I'm in America (when I try and enter billing details it's still bringing up zip codes and a dropdown for US states rather than UK counties). How do I change it?

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy home network setup is pretty weird and I am having problems connecting between my G4 with Leopard and my MBP with SL. Basically I have a static ip with a zyntex or something ADSL modem, then I have a switch and after the switch i got a 10Mbps Brack Firewall router and today I bought an Airport Express to get internet at places. I dont want to lay down cables. So anyway I noticed once I hooked up I can see my G4 but I cant connect to it. If I use a cable tho it work. Btw the airport is connected to the switch so is the G4, all the PCs are connected thru the brack router.
