I cant upload photos to facebook - message says facebook server not found and, i'm not sure if it's associated but i can't upload movies from my iphone 3GS to youtube.

I downloaded Handbrake in order to download movies onto my MBP, and then upload them onto my iPhone 3G. However, is Handbrake necessary to use simply to download movies onto my MBP that I will later watch solely on my computer (that is, not upload them onto my iPhone)? Or, is there software already pre-installed on my MBP that will allow me to download the movie (DVD) on my computer, without having to use Handbrake or like software? After uploading, what application will allow me to watch the downloaded DVD?
View 22 Replies View RelatedI have a very reliable connection, mediacom online broadband and I've been trying to upload this .mov video that's about 700 MB in size and it hasn't been working. I've been leaving my computer on at night and I would wake up with it saying error. I've tried the beta version the regular version it just ends up stopping somewhere and not working anymore. I'm now trying to upload with plugging it into my router via ethernet instead of using wifi if that makes it any faster. I'm getting real tired of trying to upload time after time after time. Is there any freeware that I can use to upload to youtube so it's more reliable? I don't want to make the file smaller and have worse picture so it can upload faster.

i have tried everything to get videos uploaded to youtube but nothing works imovie gives me a communication error timeout thin and in safari i use the beta uploader and it crashes safari after ti gets like 5% done and i tried the reg uploader on youtube and it started at 1 and i checked it at4 30 and it still didnt budge or upload idk.

I post videos over on http://youtube.com/xpxvistaxosx and wanted to post an unboxing of Snow Leopard and a couple of other related videos about Snow Leopard. I have one problem, when ever I go to the Youtube upload page the video page just loads and never finishes rendering the web page, It isn't the web browser because I have tried Safari, Firefox and Omniweb and still no luck. I did have Glims for Safari and thought that could have been interfering but all traces of Glims are gone from my computer. Also the cache on all the web browsers have been reset so I really don't know what the problem could me. I really want to upload these videos on to the web and would greatly appreciate any help I could get.
View 10 Replies View RelatedWhenever i upload a video to youtube, it stops about halfway through or part way through and literally STOPS. the progress bar just wont move or change. it is very frustrating. i use a wireless connection, and even when i literally sit right next to the wireless box, the problem occurs, the videos have ranged from 5 mins to 10 mins. it has occured on both safari and firefox.

how do i add movies to the iphone? i cant drag n drop movies or music to my iphone. i have checked off manually manage music and videos but i cant "dnd" them to the iphone. the only way i can do it is if i choose and check the sync options under the appropiate tabs and i don't wish to do that. so how do you MANUALLY DRAG N DROP movies and music onto the phone?

Basically, I have some videos on my iPhone I bought from iTunes, which are also on the hard drive of my battery-looks-to-be-dead iBook G4. I want to copy the videos onto iTunes on my new MacBook Pro but the only option in iTunes seems to be to transfer content the other way around. Basically I have Futurama I purchased on my iPhone and want to put it on my MBP- how do I do this? It shows the HD version if I launch it from my imac, but for some reason I can't get it to sync the HD version to the 4S.
I did originally buy the HD movie on my 4S but had to download it at home on my mac due to large file sizes.
