At first I was trying to upload AVI files along aside actual photos on an album page and that didn't work so I deleted all of them. Now I'm trying to upload a .m4v file and still, nothing. I receive this error after a good long while of it trying to upload it. I have plenty of space on my file for the video and all of the other content for my page.

When watching Videos on youtube longer then 10 min my 1.6/80 MBA slows down to a crawl, its driving me bananas for $2k Canadian this thing should work like a charm.
My Ipod Touch has no problems with the same videos on Youtube.
I am trying to make a list of the videos that i have shot with my digital camera....my 1Tb is almost full, so you can understand that is not that easy as looking into a folder with the big thumbnails
this is the expectation: to find an app that can
-create a preview of each video (qt, mov, m4v, wmv, avi, rm, etc)
-create few frames that shows the content of the video
-export the list of movies as web page, with the title of the video and the snapshot for each of them
Do you know if there is any way to achieve this result, without making manually everything?
I've found a software on pc, taht i can use with parallels, but it takes just 1 shot of the video, and not multiple, with the result that is hard to get what is in the video, especially when the video is 10-15 min long, and the name doesn't help to recall what was happening in that video
I have a series of short (5 minute) videos that I want to be able to add to a playlist and have them automatically play, one following the other, the same way that a song does. If I have a song playlist, and I tell it to play the first song, it then goes on immediately to play the second song. But with videos, they don't immediately play. I have a playlist full of short videos. Shuffle is on, as well as Repeat All. I'm not sure what button I need to press to make this playlist actually work. How do I do it?
View 4 Replies View RelatedNot sure if anyone else has this problem or not, I noticed on my 2007 model MacBook Pro, that when I view videos through either Safari, Firefox or any other browser, my GPU temp goes up to around 81 degree celsius unless fans kick in OR I set them to kick in.
I observe temp using iStat Widget.
On the other hand, I just finished watching a movie on my very same laptop through VLC, that is through a media player and not through flash and noticed that temperature barely hit 63 degree celsius. I know flash still has issues and that this will not probably improve with my model ever in the future, but is it normal and should I live with it?

I've recently upgraded to Lion and have found that Quicktime movies and embedded Flash movies won't work. With the embedded flash all I get is a black box, and with quicktime movies, such as the ones on the Apple website, I get nothing - the irony of not being able to watch movies on the Apple site with my Apple iMac gives me a little chuckle. Anyways ....... I've been reading thread after thread and trying lots of different things but nothing works. I've got this feeling inside that says it's something simple but just can't seem to find it.

I'm trying to load a photo onto twitter and it asks me to select photo and then shows me the finder but where are the photos that I have stored in iPhoto? - I can't see them anywhere.
I then save the photo I want onto the desk top and this works but the file is too big and I can't work out how to save it as a web sized version.

Facebook says in its instructions for photo uploads that it doesn't support images altered by 3rd party SW, only original photos straight from the camera. We know this is BS; there's lots of photoshopped stuff in people's photo albums and personal thumbnails. I'm wondering if anyone has any idea what it is that causes some stuff to be rejected. First post and want to say this web site has already been great in answering questions. New Mac user (first 60 days) and had really been wishing that I bought the 1:1 service as the transition from a PC has been hard. Watched all of the iPhoto and Finder on line tutorials last couple of days then found this great site via Google. Wish I had found this about 45 days ago. I have done some searches and I am down to a few last questions / confirmations re: iPhoto. - IPhoto library / pictures in the library are not to be accessed using Finder... it is a finder, not a doer and that is how you end up with those pictures with and ! in them. Correct? I admit that I was thinking finder was like windows explorer and you could do things to photo files, copies, move them around, etc. - Go to many different Forum sites and I need to upload photos to those site. I can't seem to use the "browse for a file" function from these sites and see any of the photo files in the iPhoto library? From posts and a lot of trial and error is the best way to do is just to export the photos out of iPhoto library to a desk top folder? Seems like a work around. Am I missing something?............

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a video I want to upload to Youtube (made in iMovie 3.0.3). If I use Full Quality export on iMovie, the file is 1.34gb, which is out of the question. If I use the next best quality (CD rom), the video is 31mb, which looks okay on my computer, but it's frame rate was **** on Youtube. I'm not a video editor or anything, so iMovie's "Expert Export" options baffles me.
What should I do in the expert export to have file that's smaller than a gigabyte, but will upload good on Youtube?
