I have imported a TV show from a disk with 4 episodes on it. I've done this before with the same disk and it worked fine but now when I try to play it is comes up with a warning "the disk copy protection could not be verified. The disk cannot be played . [-70025]" is there any way around this?
View 2 RepliesMy stupid iPod Nano 3G started this last night. I plugged up my nano, and it said I needed to restore my iPod, so I did it. After I restored it, I placed all my music back into it. When I unplugged it, it said No Music. I plugged it back in, wondering what the heck was going on, and it said Other: 3.63GB instead of Music: 3.63GB. So I restored about three times in a row, and I've even went to Disk Utility to erase it and restore, and it does the same thing. What can I do?

I have a MacBook Pro that I had four multi-user accounts on. One of them got corrupted, so that one was deleted and another account was opened. I want to get all the old iTunes songs out of the corrupted user folder and put them in the new account iTunes folder.Do I just drag the whole old iTunes folder into the Music folder of new user?letting it overwrite the existing iTunes folder? If I overwrite the new iTunes folder with the old iTunes folder, will it delete whatever I downloaded in the new iTunes since, or meld the old and new together? How do I keep from deleting newer songs and still keep the iTunes library or directories, or whatever, intact?

I still have all music I want on my ipod and have recovered my purchased content but cant sync ipod or will lose all the content. I am thinking there might be a problem with the FireWire cable itself (i hope, cause thats a cheap and easy fix). View 1 Replies View RelatedI just bought a new MacBook Pro and used Migration Assistant to move my old MacBook files to the new machine. Ever since the file migration, my brand new iPod Touch is having a lot of problems connecting to iTunes. Here's the deal: When connected by USB to the new MBP, the iPod charges fine, but is not recognized by iTunes (does not show up at all). After mucking around a bit (unplugging/plugging in, deleting iTunes plists, and repairing disk permissions) I decided to reinstall iTunes. I followed Apple's directions to completely remove iTunes and after reinstalling iTunes the iPod was detected and all was working great again...until I shut down and restarted my computer and the iPod was no longer recognized.
I proceeded to uninstall/reinstall iTunes again. It worked!...until I restarted my computer and iTunes would not recognize the iPod again. Interestingly, each time that I followed Apple's directions to completely remove iTunes, I could not find iTunesHelper running in either Activity Monitor or present in the start-up items of System Preferences as the Apple KB suggested it should be. I should also mention that the new iPod Touch has no problems being detected by iTunes on my old MacBook (the source hard drive for the file migration). This is baffling to say the least. I'm getting ready to forget Migration Assistant, nuke my new MBP's user account and start from scratch.

I have a new MacBook with aluminium case with Leopard on it. I use the Mail program coming with the OS. My problem is that when I send a letter to one addressee then in the activity window I can see more processes (2, 3 sometimes 4) as though it was sent to more recepients. After checking the recepient account, there is only one mail from the account I used from Apple.
I got another MacBook, basically with the same config, I use the same smtp server, but I do not have that symptom. Somebody has got a clue what is going on. Wrong config, virus or computer hacked ? I am totally new to OSX and Apple,
So I've just purchased a mid 2011 Macbook Pro 13" used via eBay. Was advertised as having 500gb hard drive and 6gb ram. I checked the ram and it was all legit, checked the hd capacity and it was all correct as well. So I made a new login for myself and deleted the previous owner's. Now my hard drive shows up as 320gb. Even in disk utility and terminal.
