OS X :: Fujifilm Camera Won't Connect To Computer?
Feb 28, 2010
I have a macbook pro and when i try and connect my Fujifilm A850 camera to it, a light blinks green rapidly, with the screen being grey and reading USB. But the camera doesn't appear to be connected to the computer as a drive and doesn't appear when iPhoto is open. When i connect it to my dad's iMac however, it works fine.
Surely this is a pretty standard feature in laptops now, particularly with Apple's obsession with iPhoto etcDoes it come as an option? How do you get your pics off your camera? You have to connect a usb cable from the laptop to the camera?
Is there a plan to release a print driver for the FujiFilm ASK-4000 Dye Sub printer? The current driver worked well with OS 10.6; but as my Mac Pro took on updates I began to experience issues printing. The thought of restraining my Mac Pro is absurd.
I've connected this camera hundreds of times in the past. But now it says"A USB is attached that is drawing too much current. The hub to which it is attached will be deactivated."

Before I upgraded to Lion I was able to use my HP Photosmart 912 camera with iPhoto. This camera uses a Compact Flash Card. Â
Now I cannot import pictures into iPhoto. What happened that will not allow me to now use my camera? Do I need to return to Snow Leopard to be able to use my camera or would upgrading to iLife give me an upgrade to iPhoto. I have iPhoto 08 version 7.1.5 (378).
My video camera (JVC) has a USB port, when I connect the cord from the video camera to the macbook, it doesn't recognize it. I assume you can connect it to the computer this way since it has a USB port on the cam. The cam has firewire (which mac doesn't) and it charges from a dv connection.
i have mac mini. I connect a video camera to my computer via firewire. i try capture video in fcp and imovi, but firewire not detected. when i open imovy and import video, then show the massage "camera not connected".
I cannot access my camera on my Macbook. It wont turn on and I cannot find it in my applications menu. I had it on my desktop too and I think I accidentally deleted it with a bunch of other things.

I have a 16 GB SDHC Card. I took pictures with it on my Nikon D5100 and now when I went to go look at the pictures on my camera, I got an error message that said this card is broken and that I need a new SD Card. Then I thought it was just a camera issue so I plugged it into my MacBook Pro but it didn't reconize it. Is there any way to get the data off of the SD card and how did this happen?
I have a problem with my Iphoto application. When i open my Iphoto a text box opens up and asks if i would like Iphoto to connect to my digital camera, even though i do not have my camera plugged in. when i go to click one of the three options it freezes up and then must be force quit. I've tried to let it run it coarse in hope that it comes out of the frezze but this has not worked.
I have to do an assignment and it require me to insert a video of youtube onto a powerpoint presentation. I was unsure of what programs to use for this so i thought that there might be away to film my computer while i watch the yourtube video.

How do I connect my video camera (Sony FX1E) using Firewire cable to the MBP firewire port (which I see is Firewire 800). Is there a cable or adaptor for this?
I have an external iSight Web camera and want to use it with an iMac with a built in iSight camera. Can I disable the built in iSight camera and instead use the external camera?
Today my ipod started to act up. I cant seem to connect it to my computer anymore. When I plug it into my FireWire port, all it does is charge the battery. I am thinking there might be a problem with the FireWire cable itself (i hope, cause thats a cheap and easy fix). I know it isn't a problem with the FireWire port on my computer, because my CD Burner works fine.
I wish to migrate my Thuderbird email, in total, from my iMac Lion to Windows 7? Can I do so by USB? Or, Can I do it thrhough my home network. I have no trouble telling my Windows computer to connect to my iMac through my home network, but not the other way.Â

Many times my computer takes too long to connect to new website. I have wireless internet (time capsule) and I am running a pretty powerful real time financial work program at same time, what is the best solution? Upgrading speed from cable network? is it a hard drive issue? do I only need to "clean out" the computer? Or all of the above...not to computer saavy. It is a Macbook Pro osx 10.6.8 (late 2010).

Since updating my iMac to Yosemite I can no longer connect wirelessly to my Canon Pixma 5250 printer. Support Code: 300 pops up on the screen asking me to make sure the printer is properly plugged in. The software for the printer was updated automatically 2 days ago.
