I recently uninstalled Norton Antivirus, however it still shows that it is on my computer. I will do a search for it and it asks where it is located. I am trying to download the newest version of Flash-player but I can't download it because I supposedly need to disable the antivirus software that I have that I already uninstalled.

I sent a request the other day for help regarding my downloading Adobe Flash Player 11.2.202.235 and losing the ability to play my games( they were bookmarked from the web) because of missing plug- ins. I mentioned that I know very little about this computer. I did get a reply saying that he needed more information about my computer which I sent and I have not heard anything back. I probably did not send the message correctly therefore I am sending the info again and I hope I don't screw it up this time.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently had to get a new iPhone because my last one died. I've purchased all of my music through iTunes and got the majority of the songs back on my phone. About 50 songs won't transfer back though. I tried drag and dropping and checking the sync music button and re-syncing my phone and nothing has worked. All the songs are downloaded and in iTunes, but nothing is working. Does anyone know why they won't transfer?

I just purchased an iMac OS X version 10.7.3. My kids keep trying to play games but are prompted that they need to download Adobe Flash player. I follow the prompts for the latest version, but no luck. It says it's successfully installed. When I go to system preferences and click on the flash player, it says "plug in version 11.2.202.228 is installed" but when I click the "check now" box and it tells me to the Adobe websitem, under version information it says I have 9.0.124.0 installed? I have uninstalled and reinstalled countless times to no avail.

Basically, whenever I go to a site such as [URL] the box where the movie should be just says: Click Here to Download Plugin, and whenever I click to download it, the automatic download fails and I have to go to the manual download. Well, that all works fine (I've tried both the .dmg and the .zip files) until it opens the Adobe Flash Page after the download and installation are complete, and I still get that message that I need to download the plugin that I definitely JUST downloaded and installed.
This has been going on for a very annoying two weeks now, and I've even gone through my desktop and deleted a bunch of my stuff in order to free up my memory and get my computer running a tad bit faster, but that didn't do anything. i had adobe flash player 10.xx beta 3 on my old hard drive and it was working good. 15-20% of each core while playing videos.
now i cant seem to find the beta 3. which flash player is the best and is the least cpu hog.
