Heading off concerns that the Mac App Store might generate complaints about capricious rejections and unclear submission guidelines, Apple has issued an initial outline of what developers will need to do to get their apps listed in the new store."The App Store has revolutionized the way mobile apps are developed and distributed," Apple writes in the Mac App Store Review Guidelines document. "With over 300,000 apps and 7 billion downloads, it has been a huge hit with developers and users around the world. Now we are thrilled to be opening our new Mac App Store to the hundreds of thousands of Mac developers and tens of millions of Mac users around the world."

Apple has taken action against app developer Molinker over alleged review fraud, resulting in the removal of all 1,000 of the company's apps.Thanks to the detective work of one intrepid app store enthusiast, Molinker - developer of close to one percent of all the apps available on the App Store - has been banned from the App Store and all of its apps have been removed.The issue was first brought to light by photo blog iPhoneography in a post highlighting the concerns of one of its regular readers. Reader SCW had concluded that app developer Molinker had been using its promo codes to write fake 5-star reviews of many of its apps. Each review shared the same short, disjointed style and the reviewers had only written reviews for other Molinker apps.

i was wondering if this new 'inertial' trackpad gesture available on the new line of MBPros might be possible to score on a MBAir rev B/C..this is a feature which would be great to have, IMO..anyone know if this new 'inertial' gesture is software or hardware-based?

I did this on my white MacBook last year, but that was A LOT of work due to removing the LCD display to apply the rainbow insert. This time www.icolours.ca offers transparent stickers that nearly fits over the Apple logo which makes it A LOT eaiser to apply. It looks GREAT and took no time to do. I ordered 3 stickers incase I screw it up, but I didn't. I use a Speck case to protect the Air and keeps it looking NEW, I recommend it to everyone. I did it at my desk at work. The pictures are taken with my iPhone.

Are there any guidelines to adding internal hardrives? Will any drive make/model be supported? I see from the specs on the Apple Store "1TB or 2TB hard drive, Serial ATA 3Gb/s, 7200 rpm, 32MB cache" so will a drive with 64MB cache not work or how strict is this? This topic has been touched on from time to time here, but I wanted to somehow establish a more definitive consensus about what type of brands are capable of being used in the PowerMac G5, specifically the last dual core models.I know most people suggest brands like Crucial, Kingston, and OWC because they'll guaranty compatibility, but you'll always pay a premium for that guaranty. I reside in Spain and I've recently opened a joint account with a US resident here in Los Angeles at Charles Schwab bank.The financial consultant told us it's possible to deposit checks into schwab account through an app for iphone [URL]I've tried to download but it appears the following window: "your application has not been able to complete" and "The article you requested is not available at this time in Spanish Store, but is available in the U.S. Store. Click Change Store to view this article". If I click to change the Store from the Spanish to the American store, I have to fill the data but my ID apple is not working on the "foreign" store. What can I do? Is there a way to buy / download items from a different Itunes stores?

I just bought a $10 iTunes card and I want to by iMovie from the Mac App Store. (which brings my balance to $16.48) My problem is whenever I try to buy this product I'm sent to the billing page. I don't have a credit card so I select "none" and try to purchase iMovie again. But it just sends me back to the billing page. I don't want to buy another card in order to redeem something on the billing page so what do I do?

How do I get Apple to return the paid version of a certain app back to the App store? The free limited version is still available but the paid version with more features has been removed. I know people who want to get this app and cannot. It is Word Play Online and has a very loyal following with over 50,000 names playing and yet is gone from the App Store. How can I find out where it went?

When I switched to ICloud I thought my Apple ID and password would work for Apple store. It turns out they have a different Apple ID at the Apple store with a diferent password that I do not remember. HOw can I make the ICloud Apple ID and password work for all other platforms?

My apple id is correct in my account and iCloud, but it does not work in the app store. In other words,I am able to access my apple id account and manage it; but not buy or update apps in my iPhone.This whole mess started when I updated to IOS5.

I am a MOBILE ME user for about 5 years. I just bought an IPHONE 3GS. I create an ICLOUD account with a certain APPLE ID on the IPHONE. When I try to download any APP from the Appstore, another apple id it is being ask. I restore 3 time to the original factory settings, but the problem pesists.

I bought this iMac which was purchased new Nov 24th 2011 and I bought it from a friend in January 2012 as well as purchased the applecare. When I did a clean install it removed the iLife bundle and when I try to reinstall it the app store tells me this: These apps cannot be accepted by your Apple ID.These apps were already assigned to another Apple ID, and they will be available in that Apple ID's Purchases list. If you don't have access to that Apple ID and want to receive future updates, you will need to purchase the applications.I would not have done the clean install if I knew that it would take away some of the features but when the Apple employee told me how to do it he didnt tell me that some items would not reinstall without the original Apple ID (not that I blame him).Is there any way that I can get them back on my computer without having to purchase them. I think that since they came with the computer originally that it should be possible.

I have a new MacBook Air (one week old). I have set it up with all of the expected access to iCloud, iTunes, etc. Just now I went to the App Store to buy a $15 app. When I clicked the buy button, I was asked to enter my Apple ID and password. I did. Then I was asked again. I did. Then I was told I had to enter my 3-digit credit card code. I did. Then I was asked to enter my Apple ID and password. I did. I got my software. I also got an email from Apple saying that I just updated my shipping and billing address, something I didn't do.
