OS X :: Address Book Will Not Stay Connected To Google?

I am having a issue with Address Book where I enter my Google login info, it seems to connect just fine, but when I close out of preferences and then the app and relaunch it will no longer be connected. The checkmark box for Google syncing becomes unchecked and everything.It was working fine for a while but I recently opened a new Gmail account and have wanted to sync with that one instead. For some reason now neither of the accounts will stay connected.

I can not get my mac book pro to stay connected to wireless. it will work connected to ethernet. I have reset all the network settings and I have rennwed the DHCP. I have created a new user.other then reinstalling Lion on my MBP I have done everything I can think of. I reset my router atleast 2-3 times a week no other computer on my network is having this issue.

With Leopard and Snow Leopard I could sync my Address Book with Google Contacts (in google apps). Now with Lion I can't find a way to sync those contacts. I have an iCloud acount for my personal contacst but our company uses Google Apps for sharing the contacts

I'm reading online that the 10.5.3 update added a 'synchronize to google' option in Address Book
Did 10.5.6 take this option away ? I do not have it.

I would like to use google's exchange sync tool for my address book and calendar. My concern is that just turning on the exchange sync will completely mess up my address book. What is the best way to begin syncing the address book through google exchange while avoiding address book chaos?

As I do not have any AT&T service and I am stuck on "The Big Red" I am more than likely going to make the jump to the Android bandwagon. So, in preparation I am attempting to set up my Address Book to sync with my Google Contacts and I am not having any luck. I am running Snow Leopard with full updates. I go into the Address Book preferences and check "Synchronize With Google" and enter in my information. And...nothing happens. I found a thread saying you can force sync by clicking on the sync arrows at the top of the screen and going to sync now. This managed to sync about half of my contacts on the first try. I then tried a second time and it synced another quarter of my contacts, leaving about 30 to go. For the contacts it did sync, this system worked perfectly.

I have set up my Mac Address Book to sync with my Google Contacts. I have created some groups in my Google Contacts and I have created some groups in my Mac Address Book. These groups are not identical. After a period of time shouldn't they be?? What should happen in such a situation? How is the best way to manage Contact groups? I have an iPhone, and was looking at apps to create contact groups on it, but held back as I seem to be in a mess with my Mac and Google syncing, without adding to the confusion.

I check the box and enter my Google Apps address but nothing ever syncs. Even with the iSync in the menu bar and initiating a sync that way.
Does it only work with Gmail?

I've been having a problem trying to Synch my Address Book with Google. At some point in the past it worked but it doesnt anymore.Â
I have tried "rebuilding it" by cleaning up the ~/Library/Application Support/AddressBook/
I have tried cleaning up the ~/Library/Caches and /Library/Caches I have tried cleaning the /Library/Preferences/com.apple.AddressBook.*Â
Nothing has worked.Â
I can export the Google Contacts in Vcard and Import fully.Â

While browsing the web I keep randomly getting messages that my computer isn't connected to the internet. Sometimes I can load a new page in another tab, but when I go back to the tab that wasn't working and refresh it still says I'm still not connected. It seems to go in and out pretty often. I don't have this problem on my pc laptop so I don't think its my DSL. It's happened randomly since I got the Air, but seems much more frequent (probably happened 15 times today).

I need help in figuring out why my Mac won't hold the network connection. Every time I sit down at my computer I have to re-connect to the home network. since i upgraded to Lion, my computer cannot stay connected to my wifi network, I'm the only user on the network, my iphone and ipad stay connected, when I had snow leopard it stayed connected, but lion boots me off my network every 2 minutes and it takes 10 min to reconnect when coming out of sleep or screen saver.Â
this is the worst OS apple has ever released and if i could go back to snow leopard I would, but i cannot because of icloud. Â

I just replaced the hard drive in my iMac with a 3 tigabyte hard drive, so I have been updating all kinds of software, etc. Instead of Foxfire, I have been using Safari when I'm on the web. When I start a general search for information, my search engine changes from Google to Bing, and I'm not sure what setting I need to keep Google from being replaced by Bing?

I'm running 10.4.8 on a MacMini with -- tragically -- dial-up service. In trying to fix a connection problem the other day, I snooped around in some areas of my computer that I normally stay safely away from, but I don't believe I actually changed any settings. It turned out to be an error on the part of my ISP and all is well now... except that ever since then, I am stopped in my tracks every 30 minutes by a popup message from Internet Connect that tells me I'm still connected to the internet and asks whether I want to disconnect or stay connected.

computer is connected to cable modem & router. There are 2 other computers on the same router, they other computer connect fine. I have swapped the working connections with the mac mini in question. Restarts don't always correct the problem. cleared safari history, reset cache, repaired permissions,etc. Computer will work for anywhere between 5 minutes to 1 hour, then lose the internet connection. Using same computer to manage iphone4s (if that matters)

My brand new iMac will not stay connected to wifi. When I try to open Safari it says a wifi connection does not exist. When I diagnose the problem it connects to my wifi before I even get a chance to choose a wifie network to diagnose. This happens every single time.

Just got my refurb MacBook the other day--went through the setup process and got up and running, but unfortunately my internet won't stay connected for more than a few minutes, and when it is connected, it is super slow!
Just some background information that's hopefully helpful. My internet has never been great--if all three of my roommates were all using our laptops or if I was downloading something for a while, I would sometimes get kicked off and have to restart my router. Speaking of which, I'm using the wireless obviously through a Linksys router. While the disconnections on my old laptop happened infrequently, I literally can't stay on the internet for more than 10 minutes with my MacBook.
I really want to use my MacBook, but without the internet, it's pretty much just sitting there and I'm forced to use my 4-year-old, dying HP.
