Motion 5 :: Track 2 Different Points On A Line To Two Different Objects?

i have a video playing and a box in the top right corner of my screen as a different group. The video is at 0 on the Z plane , but the box is at 1000. I'm trying to draw a line from the bottom left corner of the box to a point in the centre of my screen (line is in the same group as the box) that I've motion tracked. I can make the whole group move fine if i set the the z plane position to 0 but I'd like to be able to move the camera in to get a DOF effect on the box. How can I anchor one end of the line to the corner of the box (Z position 1000) and the other to the motion tracked point on the video (z position 0)
I'm wanting to use a shape with a Line style and no Fill style to apply a border (or "frame") around an image (since the Inspector doesn't seem to have an option for adding a border to an image), and have that line feathered slightly so it doesn't have such a "hard" edge. A shape's Fill has a feather option, but the Line doesn't have a similar option. I'm guessing the way to do this is with a filled rectangle, feathered, and with an overlaid mask inside it, also feathered, over the image? In order to round the image's corners, I'm guessing I'll need to apply a mask with rounded corners over the image?
Can anyone tell me how to group objects in iweb like you can in powerpoint. I would like to group together a photo and text box without having to move them separately all the time.
Recently have not been able to drag widows, folders, or files on my desktop. Nor have I been able to draw boxes (text or picture) in PhotoShop or InDesign. If, for instance, you want to move a window in FireFox to accomodate another window, when you go to grab the bar at the top of the page to drag it it won't move; sometimes the result will pop the window to the Dock. Also trying to select text is very erratic; you can't always select the text you need. You can pretty well set the cursor anywhere, but that's about it. The scroll arrows work, but not the scroll bar if you grab it. At first I thought it was the Apple optical mouse, but I moved it to my laptop and it functions fine. I've tried trashing the Finder and Desktop Pref files, but that didn't work. I ran the Hardware Diagnostics off of the installer disk, but that didn't find anything wrong. Anyone have any ideas? I'm running the most up-to-date OS that I can on this machine; 10.4.11. Asside from this quirky thing, it's always run fine.
New Mac user. I opened Podcast collection in Launchpad and I cannot close the program since the back button is not active and I cannot continue since I dont know the name of a server. An ikon was created on the desk top which I cannot remove. How do I remove ikons from the desk top? Also where is the delete button/function?
I enabled the web and web objects including wiki and blog in server admin. I set the domain myserver.domain.org undr dns and enabled dns but when I try to enable it on the group level I run into issues. From the server and my mac book pro work group manager does not see the site. From my IMac I can enable it but when I hit save and refresh the changes are gone. I am running server 10.5.
i just bought it and am having a little trouble exporting a track i made. i didnt do much to it, just cut it and can not figure out how to export. i go to the export option and then try and save it to the desktop but it is not there when i go to find it

This is data and not total capacity. This includes all your on-line data: music, images, video, the OS, all of it. It doesn't include back-up data even if it's on-line like Time Machine tho. Just active data.
And of the on-line storage devices used for that DATA totally, what % are they filled to?
For example if you had two 500 GB drives and about 400 GB of data you would answer: "I have < 500 GB of DATA on-line." and,"My on-line storage is between 25% and 50% full.".
i'm having some issues recording in garage band which should hopefully be easy to clear up. i record an instrumental track into garage band through the line-in jack in the back. the track shows up in garage band just fine and plays, but i'm running into trouble recording while that track is playing. i plug my headphones in so i can try to hear the track while i am recording vocals, but i am unable to hear the track. i checked the inputs/outputs in system preferences and output is set to headphones, microphone is set to line in. so i'm not too sure what it could be.
Almost finished with the G4 powerbook cleanup. when I click on the network connections, there is a long list of access points. I want to remove them. How do I do this?

I want to make various items appear one at a time in Keynote, but I want it to be bulletpoint, image, bulletpoint, etc. However, it seems that I have to do all the bulletpoints at once and then other things, unless I make a whole bunch of different bulletpoint boxes, which is very annoying. to switch the build order to have items in between bullet points?
I added all these songs into my new computer using my ipod. But when I took the ipod out, none of the songs work. They all have an exclamation point next to them. I know this means that there is no actual music file in my itunes folder. I tried to add them again, but had no success. I don't have my ipod anymore and I don't like all of those songs taking up space. Is there any way I can just delete the songs with the exclamation point next to them from my library and keep the rest of my music?
At my university, there are multiple access points, all broadcasting on the same SSID with both 2.4Ghz (802.11b/g/n) and 5Ghz (802.11a/n) radios. In the spot where I'm having this problem, my Mac can see about a dozen of these access points with the same SSID. However, the problem is that I can't specify which one it will connect to. Here, there is substantial interference on the 2.4Ghz band, so it is unusable. My MacBook Air will usually connect on the 5GHz band, but it occasionally tries to switch to the 2.4GHz frequency on the AP, causing my connection to cut out.
Is there any way I can force my Airport to connect to a particular channel or access point? On my Windows machine I solved this problem by disabling the 2.4Ghz radio so that Windows would be unable to see those APs, but this doesn't appear to be possible on the Mac. I've tried searching for a solution without success.
I've had this problem since Friday with my Mac Pro (March 2009) and haven't been able to solve it.
On Friday my speakers suddenly stopped working. After first having confirmed that the speakers were working with another source, I tried headphones both in frontal headphone slot and with the analog line out in the back, both without success. There's a red light in the optical audio out, indicating that it's on for some reason, although I have selected different audio out source. The internal speaker works just fine, only the normal audio out doesn't give me anything.
I found a thread in the MBP section similar to this problem, but solutions for MBP didn't work.
I'm having a small problem in Grapher. I'm supposed to graph a set of data points for a project, which I have done, but when I export the graph as an image, the data points aren't there. I think this might have to do with getting rid of the line connecting them (which I am not supposed to have). Is there a way to keep the data points visible in the exported image?
Two emails in my mailbox have two exclamation points (!!) in the flagged column. I was unable to find what this meant in the help doc or on google. I was wondering if someone on here might know what this means. The two emails were sent via forms on my websites so I imagine maybe that has something to do with it? Anyway, any insight on these crazy exclamation points.
I don't know what I've pressed on my keyboard and now whenever I type something on the document, bullets will appear on the left and the blue thingy will always end on the right *points at the screencap above*
I tried "clear formatting" but the blue thingy remains on the right! *points on the lower half of the picture*
I'm currently working with cylindrical coordinates (r, theta, z), and I decided to test some simple graphs before I began working. The first graph I tested was r = 3 which should have yielded a cylinder, but I got a sphere instead as if I had graphed the equation in spherical coordinates! I decided to create a point set to see whether the app could plot cylindrical coordinates correctly by creating points with r = 3, and the points seemed to form a cylinder. So apparently, grapher can plot correctly in cylindrical coordinates, but not graph.

Today my finder started to run extremely slow at certain points. When I attempt to look in a folder that contains files that are greater than a couple of megabites it can take up to 3 minutes for it to work or show any preview images/icons. I just get the multi-coloured spinning circle. There is no disruption with any of the applications I am running or my internet access, just to the navigation through my files in my finder window. My Software and security updates are up to date and I hadn't recently downloaded any software. I did have to manually disconnect an external hard-drive last night as it wouldn't let me eject it through my finder window, stating the 'volume was in use.'
Here is the console log for when my mac was freezing, I checked the cpu and memory usage when it was frozen using the istat toolbar app, and both were no where near full?
I would like to eventually upgrade from Snow Leopard to Lion or Mt Lion, but I am concerned that my junction points will become invalid. This is my first Mac, and I am unfamiliar with the upgrade process. I do have Time Machine setup, but I'm worried that it won't retain my junction points. Will upgrading remove them, and if so, is there any way to back them up?
So my laptop case has been splitting near the screen and it also seems to swell at random points. I have never dropped my laptop, I take great care with it as I need it for school. Last time I went to the apple store they told me it was a cosmetic issue and id have to pay around $800.00 to get it fixed. This time I decided to call the national apple line. They told me they think it should be taken care of, and that some one was being dis ingenious in the store (did I get screwed maybe because some one's boss told them to stop giving customers replacements? I have no idea). So Now I am taking this to the apple store tomorrow. What do you think I should argue? I think since I have a 3 year protection plan, I should get at least my entire case replaced, if not a refurbished macbook pro/ or an upgrade.
Seems like it should be a straight forward deal, but it's not obvious how to make this happen. I can tell the audio is coming in, as the input levels are reflected under System Pref's. But I can't hear the audio on the line-out speakers and there doesn't seem to be an option to explicitly route the audio.
I have a 2nd monitor and hooked up my xbox 360 to it. I have it connected through HDMI and then have a regular audio jack going from the monitor to my Mac Pro. When I open up my sound preferences and select: Line In - Audio Line In the "Input Level" bar goes up and down meaning it is registering or hears the sound coming from my xbox.
For some reason though, the sound will not output from my Mac Pro. My speakers which are connected to Line Out: Built In Line Output still outputs sound coming from my mac pro but it won't output the sound from my 360. Is there a remedy for this?

My line out port on my late 2007 white macbook recently died and I no longer have AppleCare. I never use the line in port on my computer and use the line out quite alot. I have tried all kinds of fixes to fix the problem but nothing works. I would like to use the line in port as a line out port. I am not sure if this is possible so I thought I would ask here if anyone knew of a way.
