I'm having a small problem in Grapher. I'm supposed to graph a set of data points for a project, which I have done, but when I export the graph as an image, the data points aren't there. I think this might have to do with getting rid of the line connecting them (which I am not supposed to have). Is there a way to keep the data points visible in the exported image?

The graph has column X on the X-axis and Y on the y-axis. Is there a way graph the means of the Y column for each of the groups in column A (1's, 2's, 3's)?

I want to make various items appear one at a time in Keynote, but I want it to be bulletpoint, image, bulletpoint, etc. However, it seems that I have to do all the bulletpoints at once and then other things, unless I make a whole bunch of different bulletpoint boxes, which is very annoying. to switch the build order to have items in between bullet points?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI added all these songs into my new computer using my ipod. But when I took the ipod out, none of the songs work. They all have an exclamation point next to them. I know this means that there is no actual music file in my itunes folder. I tried to add them again, but had no success. I don't have my ipod anymore and I don't like all of those songs taking up space. Is there any way I can just delete the songs with the exclamation point next to them from my library and keep the rest of my music?
View 8 Replies View RelatedI need to make a very, very simple line graph. In column A, I have a list of years. In column B, I have the data....numbers that correspond to something in that year. Simple, right? It really couldn't be any less complex. I selected both columns, then I went to create a new line graph, and it created a graph that had the years (from 0-2500 even though the actual range is 1973-2005) on the Y axis, and the data on the X axis. And each column of data was its own series, so I had 2 lines, which, due to the scales, was basically 2 horizontal lines. I removed the extra series (the year series), and was able to get the line to look right. It also put the column B data on the Y axis like I want, but on the X axis, it just counts from 1-33. But I want the years on the X axis. How the hell do I do this? I'm 99% positive Excel 2004 let you set the X axis labels.....did they really remove it in 2008? This seems like something that should be so simple, I shouldn't have to post on a forum to figure out

I was wondering if someone on here might know what this means. The two emails were sent via forms on my websites so I imagine maybe that has something to do with it? View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm currently working with cylindrical coordinates (r, theta, z), and I decided to test some simple graphs before I began working. The first graph I tested was r = 3 which should have yielded a cylinder, but I got a sphere instead as if I had graphed the equation in spherical coordinates! I decided to create a point set to see whether the app could plot cylindrical coordinates correctly by creating points with r = 3, and the points seemed to form a cylinder. So apparently, grapher can plot correctly in cylindrical coordinates, but not graph.

I created a bar chart to show the data, but I need the x-axis to be "to scale", asin, have the correct amount of space between the bars. View 4 Replies View RelatedSo i've recently gotten in the uploading to YouTube craze with my Flip Mino HD but i'm not too happy at the way i've been doing this and am hoping there is an easier way.
As of late i've been importing what i film into iMovie. In iMovie i'll edit the video to my liking. In iMovie i'll "export" to the media browser so it'll show up in GarageBand. Then i'll open GarageBand and edit my film further, dealing with sound; adding music. After that i'll export it as a .MOV to my desktop. Then i'll open iMovie again and import that .MOV file and from there in iMovie will have it upload to YouTube in its original HD format.
I've got a 4 year old iMac. I have a Time Capsule and make daily backups. My question is if, err when, this iMac dies and I spring for a new shiny one, will my backup reconstitute my new machine with my current apps and data, or just the saved data?

View 4 Replies View Relatedin the last two days, when i make something in garageband and i want to export to disk. before i would choose my desktop and after normalizing and converting...it would put a mp3 on my desktop. recently when i do this, it normalizes the track...but it just stops after that....no mp3 on my desktop....i have to send it to itunes now and then pull it out of itunes to have an mp3....what is going on?

and I would like mass on the x-axis and average period on the y-axis. However, my graph is placing both values on the y-axis and placing a key beside the graph. The graph and the way I have set out the data are attached below.

A few versions back you could export songs from the file menu. Now you can't. I know there is a "library -->burn to disc" menu item, but isn't there a simple way to get one song exported out in either MP3 or AAC format?
View 3 Replies View Relatedso i've created outlines for a bunch of animated characters- 24 frames per second, each frame is a different psd file with black outlines. I'm animating over live action footage, similar in look and style to Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
I brought them in to final cut and edited them nicely (i applied some motion effects, changing the position on a few frames) so i can work with them in after effects to track them to some handheld shots.
What i need to know how to do is to export these outlines from FCP to After Effects with an alpha background- I did the export with the animation codec and the millions+ option, but when i brought them into after effects, the frames are all black! (as they are in FCP when i get rid of the shot beneath them...(which i'm doing because i just want to edit the outlines in after effects, not them on top of the footage))
Is there any way to save the slideshows from iPhoto 09 into a video format (.mov,.mp4 etc.) I think the new slideshows are brilliant and I would like to use them within keynote presentations but don't want to keep going in and out of presentation mode in keynote to click 'play slideshow' in iphoto and back again into the presentation

Both systems have iTunes 8.0.2 installed.
I'm trying to import my EQ settings in iTunes (that I created) but have no luck.
I've read elsewhere I need the .itl file in the iTunes folder, but iTunes 8 doesn't seem to offer one.
Guys I'm having one slight problem. I have iWork 09, and when I try to export PDF the pdf looks really bad on 100% zoom. 125% is quite OK, though still not perfect. When I preview the document in PDF,it looks perfect. However when I export it, characters aren't inline and look weird. Who knows why this might be? I have an imac 2.66 ghz bought in October if that's of any use.
