MobileMe :: Switching Website From Mobile Daddy If Pages Made With Go Live?

Switching website from Mobile Me to Go Daddy if pages made with Go Live (not iWeb). Do we access the SITES folder or the WEB ->SITES folder. I remember a while back Apple switched from accessing our webpages from the SITES folder at the first level. They created a folder entited WEB and put an RSS and a SITES folder within it. They did something to the index to "point" to this folder.Â
1) I've created my pages with Go Live. I have successfully used them with my iDisk. I did not use iWEB.
2) I have bought hosting on Go Daddy.
3) I cannot seem to have the webpage open as it does in iDisk
4) Am I supposed to access and transfer the files INSIDE this path:Â iDisk --> WEB --> Sites
OR
this path:Â iDisk -> SitesÂ
5) I can't remember why Apple started the new folder, but the dates seem older if I go to iDisk --->WEB --> Sites
6) I've been uploading my new files to iDisk--Sites. The dates are my newer filesÂ
I uploaded the folder to Go Daddy, but I need to type a longer path to get it to find the index.html fileÂ
I also have other folders I put at the root level. I'm not even trying to get to them yet. I'm trying to get the site to open to
one folder only at this time. I can't even get it to do that.Â
Can someone please tell me what Apple did about 2 years ago to create an index that "pointed" the the correct opening page? Or, can you please tell me what I'm doing wrong? I copied the entire folder.Â
Just wondering if you can help me. I am trying to listen to a live stream through a website using quicktime/flip 4 mac. It seems to work fine, it loads the audio stream, plays the audio and the 'play position' curser moves along, but the problem is, when the play position curser reaches the end of the bar, it goes right back to the beginning where it started...
Is this a common problem? If so, does anyone know how I can change it? I've tried it in Safari and in Firefox and they both appear to do the same thing.
this has been driving me crazy, I've looked everywhere and the "best" answer I found was resize the window in iWeb and re-make my site. I'm not that experienced in making websites and I don't have the time to do it again (I did an spanish and english version already and made them look pretty good at least for me) On my mac it looks great, on windows not so much and it takes it a lot to load. But on iPhone or BB it suuux so I wanted to make a mobile version of it but I haven't found a software that can transform it.
My iMac is too old to upgrade to Lion, so when I switch from MobileMe to iCloud, I understand that I will no longer be able to use my desktop mail app to retrieve mail, and my calendars and contacts will no longer be in sync with my iPad and iPhone. So when I switch over to iCoud, is there any work-around for this so that I can continue to use the desktop mail app on my iMac or otherwise get mail on my desktop, and keep my mail, calendars and contacts synced between my iMac, iPad and iPhone?

As the title says, I'd like to make a website using iWeb, and then later publish it using a free service instead of what Apple provides with iWeb. What services could I use, and how would I go about doing that on iWeb?
I have a website on MobileMe which I created using iWeb on a mac I currently do not have access to. Therefore it doesn't appear listed on iWeb on this mac. How do I download it to iWeb on this mac?
I am using go daddy as a host for my website. I managed to work on my iWeb but when i try to visit my page it says that is not there. How can I visit it?
Many years back, I used to have a website on freewebs (now known as web dot com). I would pay a monthly fee to host it and publish directly through their website by accessing my account online. Recently, I visited the site and found it still exists. Only that it has lots of advertisements on it since I don't pay a monthly fee anymore. Now that I have a Mac, I wanted to use iWebs to create a new website. It says I can use MobileMe to publish the website I create with iWebs. So my questions are:
(1) Will MobileMe act as my new host to which I pay the yearly subscription fee? (2) My previous host had a charge for the amount of gigabytes I published , site traffic (bandwidth), etc., what are my limits for MobileMe? (3) The main reason I was considering to purchase a MobileMe account is so I can use it as my host for a website published through iWebs '09 since they say thats the easiest way to publish. I would use the other MobileMe non-website features if I bought a subscription, but really would not purchase it unless it was for this website publishing tool. Do you think its worth it? (4) Is there anything different about using MobileMe as a website host than my previous host (i.e. freewebs)? (5) I had purchased a website name on GoDaddy which I still own. I used to redirect my freewebs site to this website name I had purchased on GoDaddy. Can I redirect my MobileMe hosted website to this website name I purchased on GoDaddy just like I used to do with my old Freewebs site? (6) I don't see anything on the MobileMe page at Apple Store giving information about hosting charges, maximum limits, bandwidth, etc. It mostly just talks about publishing photo albums, e-mail, contacts, calendars, etc. Is there anything important I need to know about using MobileMe as my sole host for publishing a website?
I have downloaded firezilla for mac and using 123-reg for my domain names and hosting but having absolutely no joy in getting the website moved across to the new host. Is there anyone out there who can help? I normally figure things out and solve my own problems but in this event I don't understand the terminology.

I don't yet have another image software on my iMac so anything I am doing right now is in pages. Is there a way to take the colour images and convert them to grayscale. I tried the ColourSync through the print file and it made my poster very grainy and blurry.
The poster is primarily in grayscale but some images are not. I would like to change them into grayscale so I can preview what it will look like without wasting ink.
I downloaded java couple weeks ago, and my browser start to open ads instead of the website i want. Also, when I open the website I want some words appear bold and have link, where on my phone it appears as normal text when I am browsing on my phone.

c2002 eMac that had to have the OS reinstalled. It is running Safari 1.0.3. I have installed all updates via the software updater and the issues I am having are the aluminum keyboard is no longer functioning correctly. When I go to apple/support to download updates the page will not load fully on safari preventing me from installing the needed updates.Â
I'm basically trying to make a "save as" version of a project so I can change what I have without risk of losing everything I've done. But every time I save a new version of the project (and even rename it, store it on another drive, etc.), the changes I make to the new version are also made to the original.I'm also not getting the popup "duplicate project" window (which should give me a choice of where and how to save the project) I'm supposed to get when I click on "Duplicate Project." How can I simply save a fixed version of my project?Â
How I can transfer all documents from iDisk to Pages at once? I only read information how I can transfer one document at a time, but I have thousands of documents to transfer from my iDisk which will disappear at June 30th. In MobileMe I was using iDisk as an automatic backup system. With the software from Backuplist I made a backup from my hard disk tot iDisk. How can I transfer all of this to Pages?
Firefox has this option on OSX (each frame on separate page), but safari seems to lack such an option. I need to print multiple frames (invoices from zencart) each on separate pages. When I try to print with Safari it will either try and print the selected frame, or it will print all the frames as it's laid out on the page (all printed on one page). Am I missing this option somewhere? Is there an extension I can try (already tried print plus to no avail)?
I just used Chax to combine my AIM and Facebook accounts in iChat, but I just realized how many of my friends use the stupid mobile feature for AIM, so they all show up in my buddy list when they really arent available. Is there anyway I can hide those mobile accounts in iChat?
this noob understand what the differences will be in terms of pros/cons and overall performance. What about if Apple keeps everything else the same and just upgrades the processors, how would that affect things (hypothetically)?
I accidentally double-clicked on a file named "Domain" which was really a backup file of my Site. My problem is that I had backed up my site a long time ago, after which i have made many changes. Now when I open iWeb it takes me back to the original days of the site. I still have the desired folder in "Sites", but can seem to get in onto iWeb. Is there any way to put my latest site back onto iweb?
I haven't setup time machine, I publish using Easy iWeb Publisher, I don't have have a Mobileme account
How do I remove iDisk from the sidebar and clear that folder on my mac? If I click on the icon after closing the account. I am asked to log back in to MobilMe. Mobil Me is over. I don't have iDisk anymore, so how do I clear it from my computer?
