Whenever I go to watch a YouTube video, no video plays its just sound. I've tried using three different browsers (Safari, Google Chrome, FireFox) all to no avail.

The sound works fine otherwise (though it's never loud enough on this machine - I think the speakers may have issues). Regardless, for youtube ONLY, it will play video fine and maddeningly... no sound! I got this machine used and I don't seem to recall that it had this problem a couple years ago, but that one day it just stopped having audio for youtube. I have already tried resetting the PRAM and PMU - no effect.

Since last few weeks I am having strange problem in safari. Whenever I try to view youtube videos embedded in any site facebook, udacity etc I am keep on getting error saying "Unexpected error occured please try again later" or videos just stops playing by itself behaving its finished. Its very annoying problem. It happens in direct youtube site also.

Completed the Safari 5.1.4 update late last night and since then when trying to use youtube. Videos will play sometimes. Other times they will play but I have no control over volume, search bar, play buttons and the like. Also the biggest issue I am having is the like, share, add and other buttons don't work.

My iMac has suddenly just stopped playing the videos in YouTube. Up until today I have been watching them no problem, now every single one i have clicked on says 'This video is currently unavailable'. However I can watch them over the same wifi connection on my iPhone4 no problem. I havent downloaded any new software or been on any sites other than Facebook, so can't imagine whats up with it. Please help I've only has it 5 days.

I was playing a bunch of 1080p videos when I started to hear a vibrating/buzzing/rattling sound coming from my Mac Pro. I don't recall ever hearing this sound before. Is there something wrong with my Mac?

It only happens occasionally and is fixed with a restart and is really annoying. Does anyone know how to fix this?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm having an issue with iMovie '08 and YouTube. I recorded my iMac unboxing and even short clips using the iSight Camera, and tried to publish them to youtube. The videos say "Published to YouTube" beside them and all, but when I goto YouTube, the videos are not there. They don't even say "Awaiting Review" or whatever. They just aren't there. I'm entering correct account information and all. I'm annoyed, because one of the reasons I decided to get a mac was to engage in YouTube.

View 5 Replies View Relatedi'm having this minor but annoying problem with Firefox. every now any then when I move my mouse over the volume button while I'm watching a Youtube video in order to get the volume bar to pop up, nothing happens. if i click repeatedly on the button and go crazy it will pop up, but it will not let me slide the volume bar up and down. i don't remember having this problem with Safari. it's sort of like the browser isn't recognizing my mouse cursor hovering over the volume area in order for it to trigger the bar to pop up, if that makes any sense.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have to do this video project and I used Photobooth with the Macbook iSight to record it and I edited it with iMovie, but right as I was about to finish editing the last scenes, iMovie stopped playing sound. If I slowly scroll or hover over the video frames it will play the audio, but not then the video is being played. and the audio wave button is on, but the green audio bars won't even display while the video is playing, but will when I'm hovering over video layers.

I want to save YouTube videos in my iTunes. I used to be able to do this selecting Command-Option-A while a YouTube video was playing. The problem now is that Safari saves the file as a webarchive file, which I am not exactly sure what that is. The webarchive file can be saved onto my MacBook but the file only opens back up in Safari.
