I have installed Adobe Flashplayer 10 many times and can not get it to work. The installation completes and states successful but when I go to test it it asks me to download. Also when I get to certain pages it states I do not have an mime plug in to support. I am definitely not computer literate and I am hoping someone can walk me thru this.

Is this ok to download or are we asking for more trouble. My computer was affected last week and with the removal tool it was fixed. I just hate the thought of another version. I install it, open it in my downloads, Click install adobe Flash player, and then click open when it asks me if I want to open application downloaded from the internet. After I click open I put in my password, click next, then as adobe trys to download it will get to 50% the stop and say Safari needs to be closed to continue. However safari and everything is already closed. I am able to download Adobe Flash Player.
