I recently got a new Macbook Pro, and I am trying to record some gameplay footage of my online adventures in PS3 games to share with friends. I would like to record in preferably HD 720p if possible, but Standard Definition would be acceptable only if I can play the game in HD on my Television while it recorded in SD. My TV does not have any outputs, only input connections for component, composite, and HDMI.
I've done a lot of researching on the internet, and the closest thing I found to what I was looking for was the Hava HD Wireless. [URL] The problem is that it doesn't seem to say anywhere that it will work with a Mac. I was wondering if there is any Mac solution to my problem.
I'm not sure if i'm suppose to post it here sorry if im not suppose to anyway. I was wondering if i can play a psp on my macbook pro screen and record it using a screen recorder. I've seen many video on "playing psp on PC", but havn't seen a mac one.

I have a 17" Macbook Pro from Jan 2012 and I can't get an external microphone to work. Initially I tried a cheap Sony microphone with no luck. So purchased logitech headphones. They have 2 jacks, one headphones, one microphone. I've tried it with Word for Mac and Quicktime (selecting line-in)

When i right click on the video box and go to flash settings, its set to USB for webcam and when i double click to check it in settings it'll show me (meaning the camera is working from the usb setting), but when i go back to the facebook video box my camera will never turn on. anyone have a fix for this? All other macs i've used have done this just fine.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI got my MacBook Pro finally and I've been thinking about investing in a capture card to record gameplay from my Xbox. I've heard alot of mixed reviews on the Pinnacle for Mac, and it's also pretty expensive. So, is there a good device that can capture gameplay off of an Xbox while not forcing me to play on a computer screen?

My nephew is the cutest thing ever and occasionally I facetime with his mother (my cousin) and he'll occasionally leave messages for me. I plan to record these short moments via facetime but so far there really isn't a proper app to do it except for using screen video capture and the only good one I found was imcapture but I find it very pricey. Is there any way for me to record facetime besides pointing a camera at the screen/screen capture/imcapture?

I love the options Quicktime offers me in screen recording. Before I went over to the "Mac-Side" I played around with different Windows-based screen recording software but couldnt find any that offered seamless recording. Quicktime gives me just that. My problem, however, is this. Whenever I try to record a movie or video clip with screen recording, all I can see of the video is a bunch of white and grey blocks. Is there an option I need to click or a specific resolution I need to record in so I can clip parts of videos?

I know the Mac has a screen recorder, but the problem is it doesn't record onboard audio in addition to the screen recording. I've also tried the audio recording stuff and it just doesn't work.So are there any programs out there that can record audio AND video at the same time, in one file, on the Mac? I've tried the AudioHijack and Audacity stuff, but it's impossible to sync it with the screen-recorded video
